After our most recent successful purchase of the most beautiful creation of an engagement ring that Naomi had helped personally design for us and in following up looking for our wedding bands, I was disturbed to come to reviews for this establishment that are anything less than perfect. The most recent review was actually quite disturbing. I was very happy though to realize that the source of the bad review was someone so low as to include such harsh referendums that would include enough immaturity to place a "B" word reference (the type of name calling that I have not seen used since grammar school) in regard to a professional business. This only speaks to their lack of knowledge in the industry and the absolute need for such professionals as Naomi!! I personally have worked with Naomi, The daughter to the owners of this "Diamond in the Rough" prized establishment and take personal offense to any such accusation that she could even attempt to come across as anything other than professional. The fact that this review was in regard to an appraisal only tells me that the joke of a ring brought in by whatever amateur this was, clearly was expecting her "Cracker Jack" ring to be worth the millions, when clearly, it was far from. Aside from that, the foundation of the relationship and the ability to connect with the client is the reason that my future husband and I are excited to spend countless future anniversaries on new ways to embrace the memories of our future. There is no beat around the bush, tell me what you want to hear relationship, which in todays world, is A MUST!! Thank YOU Diamonds Direct and Naomi for continuing to do such an amazing job over the years to make sure that our collectibles are OUR collectibles and unlike any others!! You truly are amazing and unique in what you do and I feel sorry for the inexperienced that arent used to working with such high caliber individuals in this arena. Please disregard the last....sometimes the word NAIVE takes a nasty paragraph through someone elses words to define. You ARE as a business....PRICELESS!!!

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from Diamonds Direct and he did a GREAT job! With the assistance of Maria he was able to design a beautiful ring that I cant stop staring it! When he told me about his experience designing a ring he explained that the staff was super helpful and went above and beyond to help him pick the perfect ring - even calling him to let him know that a new band had come in that they felt would be perfect for what he was looking for from previous discussions. After the proposal I was able to go and meet the staff - they were so friendly and willing to tell me more about my ring and help me find the perfect wedding band. I will absolutely be going back to purchase my fiances wedding ring! Will absolutely recommend to friends and family for all diamond purchases!

The staff at Diamonds Direct are knowledgable and sincere. I had heard great things from many people who are long standing loyal customers that I know personally. Unlike the other jewelry stores I had looked at for my fiancees engagement ring, they actually listened. I knew exactly what she wanted and they delivered exactly that at a price that was unbelievably below what any competitors could get near. After proposing, they custom built her the ring of her dreams around the diamond we had already selected. They spent time listening and consulting with Kati to make sure that every detail was exactly as she imagined it. Now I go to them for every inquiry and they have become my trusted advisors on jewelry. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Could not be happier. I went in nervous, unsure, and feeling a bit unprepared for the whole "buying an engagement ring" experience (as Im sure most men felt at this stage). The staff COMPLETELY understood how overwhelming the proposal stage can be. I was amazed by how effectively the staff calmed my nerves, educated me on ring details, and most importantly listened then reacted to my ideas also. I was able to build a ring in a new style that my fiance loves, which is something that I thought would be over my head both literally and financially. She loves her ring and loves explaining that I contributed to its creation. Feels good that she recognizes the and appreciates energy that I put into it. I have Diamonds Direct to thank for that.

I have been a customer of Diamonds Direct in Minneapolis for almost 20 years. Through the years, I have used many of their services. I have bought gifts to celebrate special occasions in our family, like high school and college graduations, birthdays and weddings. I have used their design service, and I have asked them to find contemporary settings for heirloom jewelry in antique and weakened settings. I have always been pleased with the work they have done for me. I feel that I have gotten very good value for the money I spent, and I have always felt that the sales people took a personal interest in ensuring that I purchased something lovely that I would be proud to give. I found a coupon in MN Public Television July schedule magazine for a free jewelry evaluation. I knew this was a very good offer for a piece of jewelry I wanted to have appraised. The store is bright and welcoming. I was waited on immediately. When the woman helping me needed to do something else, the gentleman who owned the store finished the appraisal. I learned about the jewelry piece, how to care for it and things to notice so I can have repairs done in the future. This was a very positive experience. The results were given to me right then, verbally, with e-mail to follow. I would enjoy doing business with Diamonds Direct in the future. I told friends and family about the positive experience I had here.

I went into Diamonds Direct to get an appraisal on my old engagement ring because I was looking to sell it and buy something online. Kristina hooked me with her sales pitch and assured me they could make what I wanted for less. I was a little skeptical at first but that was about a month ago and I know am wearing my custom ring. Im extremely picky and Kristina was patient through the entire process. She brought in multiple diamonds for me to look at and gave me sound professional advice along the way. She gave me tons of options to work around my budget and was totally honest about all aspects. It was a pleasure working with Diamonds Direct and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

My initial experience with Diamonds Direct was to replace an earring and the staff (John & Maria) was able to solve my problem and have me out the door that very next day quite satisfied. My wifes birthday went well as a result. That same week I set-up an appraisal appointment for her other jewelry and Maria handled the process flawlessly and I had a professionally written appraisal for each piece that same day. Great customer service used to be more common, but it isnt, so when you find a place that gives it consistently that business stands out as a place that you hold in high regard. It is a pleasure to write a nice review for folks that treats its customers with class.
