When a friend passed away unexpectedly, I was desperately looking for a mom and pop/local floral shop to do an arrangment. I found Acanthus totally by chance. The person in whose honor the arrangment was for had been an active tarot reader. While I know nothing about tarot, and do not practice it, I knew that it had meaning for her family. I spoke to an acquaintance who runs a tarot card dealership, and she let me pick through her mismatched decks and helped me identify cards that were associated with the positive traits that represented my friend. I brought them to Acanthus, and they found wonderful ways of incorporating the cards into a floral arrangement- standing some up from the small plastic card holders, punching holds in the tops of others and hanging them from willow spirals, etc. They did a beautiful, individualized job on short notice at what I found to be a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I stopped in to buy a small bouquet after work one day and asked a random question about bamboo plants. The employee couldnt answer it, so she took down my name and phone number and said shed pass along my question to the owner. Honestly, it was just an off-hand question, so I didnt really think about it after I left the store. But the next day, the owner called and left a voicemail for me, answering my questions and telling me to call back anytime I need more info. Plus, the flowers I purchased were gorgeous and lasted a long time. Great service, great products -- you cant go wrong!

Great service, flower quality, and prices. I wasnt able to stop in the shop, but Jodi helped me by directing me to their Facebook page. picked out the arrangement and she sent me a photo of locally made vases. Very helpful, and the flowers were amazing and the price was just right. Highly recommended

This place is a hidden gem. Whenever I stop by, its out of the blue to grab flowers for my wife or mom, etc. and the lady always puts together an awesome bouquet no matter what your budget is. Highly recommend.
