On Saturday, 8/30/09, I was overcharged for 1 taxable item. Today, 9/2/09, I took both the item and my receipt into the store (out of my way) to request a refund. At the checkout lane I informed the cashier that I had been incorrectly charged for that particular item. He said nothing.....nothing.....just looked at the item (which clearly had an orange reduced price sticker on it) and looked at my receipt and said nothing. After several machinations, he handed me $2.00....whereupon I asked "Wasnt there tax charged on that?" Again, he said nothing.....just (seemingly annoyed) handed me .14 cents (to be precise, it should have been .15 cents). My point? How about saying initially...Oh, Im sorry that happened. Let me see what I/we can do or let me help you with that or lets get that fixed.....something along those lines. And, as for not including the tax in the cash return....when prompted, he ought to have said...Oh, Im sorry I forgot that. The Rice Street Aldis could use some customer service lessons. Note: When I do not receive decent, respectful service - no matter how good the price - I will not return and I do tell others of my experience.

They need to be more welcoming toward minority at this store. I had to return an item to their store and the supervisor I think , ask me how long I was inside the store and then he went inside to the back office. It didnt hit me until after waiting there for more than 15 minutes that I realize what was going on. He think I stole the item, so he had to go to watch their security camera. That supervisor guy always had a mean look to him especially when interacting with minority people including me. The next time something like this happen I will contact aldi to make a complaint.

Absolutely love this location. Our family has been shopping here for years and we have always received excellent customer service from all employees including management. Our 2 year old son loves them and they are always very sweet to him. The prices are amazing and you get a whole lot more food for your money versus other grocery stores. Taking all of this into consideration makes the long lines seem like nothing. We have and will continue to recommend this location to our family and friends. Thank you for making this location such a joy to shop at.

The cashier was so super RUDE! there was a couple with a bunch of food and I only had 2 things so I kept it in my hand then the lady behind me had more stuff so she put her things on the counter. When he was done with the customer in front of me, I saw him trying to reach for the customer behind me foods so I politely told him that I was next. He then was like yeah okay I know let me finish. So Im like uh I was just informing you. Then he proceed to tell me that I will need to wait. So rude.

The workers are very fast, friendly, responsive. The store could use some lower-priced honey,for example 8 ounces for $1, to be on the same playing field as some other stores. Also, the store could stock some smaller boxes of really good cereals, like oatmeal, as the bigger boxes are not what everybody needs. Where is the hummus lately? Can someone keep an eye on the fresh fruit; it is sometimes anything but fresh.

We have been to about 5 or 6 different ALDIs and they all have great people working for them. The fastest checkouts Id seen. The food is top notch at a great price. We dont buy all our food there, maybe half because of the limited items. We always save money going there. The people who shop there are always nice too. My favorite store to shop at. Thanks to my daughter for turning me on to ALDI.

I love Aldis products and prices. This store, however, feels like a necessary evil. The staff is awful. They are rude. They are always restocking during the busiest times. One time they were running a floor scrubber while the store was packed. And theyre not polite about having to work around you. They are yelling at you (and your kids) to get out of the way. Its never a good experience.

If you havent tried an Aldi yet, please do so. They have a reasonable selection at great prices - going to a mainstream grocery and seeing the bill makes me mad after getting used to Aldi. Be sure to bring a quarter to unlock a shopping cart and your own bag if you dont want to pay for bags.

Great produce, Great packaged foods. Good fresh and frozed Chicken. Fresh beef and pork okay, not great. Fantastic prices and quality on dairy items. Some interesting gourmet option. Quite a few organic items at reasonable prices. Some really nice bakery items that are downright cheap

This particular location of aldi always seems to be well stocked and staffed. I come here for most of my grocery shopping and they rarely make you wait at the check out lines. Aldis in general are great! Get your flowers here if they have some in stock, they are a marvelous deal! :)

Other than feeling rushed at the checkout lanes, I felt that the experience was a positive one. The prices were shockingly low and the food quality was similar to your average grocery store. Overall, I was very pleased and will come back again.

Very busy Aldi. Heard the manager say it was one of the highest traffic Aldis in the state thus why they were out of stock of a specialty item. Had good stock of all the other items I needed though.

This is a very nice ALDI. It is setup very similar to the ALDI in Mahtomedi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I usually have no issues with not having product that Im shopping for.

Good groceries, way cheaper than Cub or Super Target. The Aldi brands are very comparable to name brands. Just remember to bring some grocery bags, and get ready to save a lot of money.

This place is nice for certain food items. Make sure you bring a quarter if you need to use a cart and bring bags too. Definitely needed a beginners guide the first time I went here.

Always clean. Prices are great. Only complaint is I really have to dig for good berries. They tend to go bad quicker than the berries I buy elsewhere. Also staff is quick and kind.
