I brought my car in for 4 different issues. It makes a very loud chirping noise sounding like something is loose in the front end/dash of my vehicle, the fob for my car intermittently stops working resulting in me having to manually break into my car 5-6 times in the 6 months I have owned it, there is a grinding in my tires that I believe may be a break issue.. only making this noise at low speeds and when I brake. Finally, there is a light on my shifter that shows what gear youre in (D,N,R,P) which does not work and only sometimes randomly turns on. First of all, Justin was great to work with and tried to help, but also was quick to pass the car onto Kelly after telling me there was nothing to fix on my car. The day after I brought it in they told me to come pick it up because "there was nothing to fix". They never tried to look further to help me, just told me to pick it up. It was already an incredibly rough day after losing a family member, but now I had to go into the dealership to prove all the issues myself. I drove with Kelly who told me he could not hear the chirping noise and they had driven it 4 times without hearing it. The moment I started driving with Kelly the noise was extremely loud and prominent. He said he would take a look at it and let me know the next day. I asked him about the shifter light since they had not fixed it and he laughed it off saying "oh this car does not even have a light on the shifter! There is only a light on the dash that tells you what gear youre in." I told him that is not true and he laughed, answered a phone call, and walked away. Further, they told me the grinding in my tires was because "the brakes on your car are performance breaks, and the grinding is normal. Nothing to tell you there"... Even though the rental Cadillac or any other Cadillac Ive driven does NOT make that noise. A few days after I picked up my car I received a call from the customer satisfaction people who ask how my service went. I told her the story and she said she would have a manager call me. It has been 3 days and no call yet. I told her I would be going elsewhere to get service, which is unfortunate because I had planned on buying my Fiance a new car here and upgrading in time. While the people are nice, I am disappointed. I hate to complain, but spending so much on my first vehicle bought on my own and having so many issues within the first 6 months, it is truly upsetting.

Ive had a very interesting relashionshio with this dealership. I bought a 2013 chevy Malibu hybrid about 9 months ago. I was told I could not get a warranty because if high mileage. So after about a month of having the car, the car just wouldnt start I looked under the hood and there was oil everywhere. Towed it to the dealership they told me they were unable to do anything for me basiacally a hose busted and oil went everywhere and broke the timing belt. After consistently telling them I bought the car one month prior they finally said they could cut me a deal and took off a couple hundred from my bill. Im sure it still would have been cheaper to take it not to the dealership however. Everything has been going fine till now 9 months in, randomly my car started acting weird idling rough and putting up all kinds of error codes so I brought it to two different mechanics including the dealership they both said the same thing I need a new engine. Nearly $4000! After Ive already put around $1500 into it for the last repair. Im very irritated! Trying to explore my options not having the money right now I went to the dealership to see what they thought. Very nice guy I spoke to however he was clearly more interested in getting a sale than helping me! he offered me $1000 for my car and he would in exchange get me a new car added onto my old loan so Id basically be paying $30000 for a $20000 car. Not going to happen! I wasnt looking for a new car I want my car fixed and if I was going to get a new car it would absolutely not be from forest lake Chevrolet! Im very upset they would offer me any sort of help for this I have not even had the vehicle for a year and this happened. Ive spoken to multiple other mechanics and they all said there is no way the dealership did not know about this issue if they did the appropriate testing they were supposed to. I was sold a lemon and they dont care. I was sold this lemon and was refused a warranty (imagine that) Ive called to try and see if I truly couldnt get a warranty because of high miles and was told I dont know by the sales manager. Then I explained the situation and was told "oh yeah no it had to high miles" Be very careful buying a car here if they refuse you warranty please run! Or consider something else!

My Wife and I had been searching and searching for a solid Ford Taurus SHO. We had been to the end of the internet and back again like hobbits on a quest. Eventually we found the one SHO to rule them all at Forest Lake Chevrolet. My wife journeyed far from the misty mountains of Richfield, and I ventured far and wide from the vast plains of Plymouth. We arrived at the Shire (Forest Lake Chevrolet) to only be greeted with disappointment... The one SHO to rule them all had been taken by a creature much like ourselves (another customer had bought it... well tried to buy it.). With a bit of disappointment and a mild case of road rage after our long days journey (you have commuted up 35 right?) we retired back to our hobbit hole. The next day we ventured back to our pursuits in Richfield and Plymouth. As if by chance, my seeing crystal was still active (I left my web browser open all night at work, like it was my first day...) and open to Forest Lake Chevrolet. I commanded the crystal to show me the current status of the shire (I refreshed my browser). By the hands of Sauron!! The SHO was back in inventory... What sorcery is this? (the financing for the previous buyer fell through...). We were summoned by a raven (We chatted through the website chat feature) to visit the SHO in the shire that very evening. We were greeted by Gandalf the grey (Clem) and he was very helpful in procuring all that we needed to take the one SHO to rule them all back to our Hobbit hole that night. He summoned his allies in Rivendell (Finance) to assist us with all the necessary precautions of taking on the SHO for our own (He dealt swiftly with all the finance paperwork). All in all a great experience. I am pleased to say that I think we have found our go to car dealer for now and in the future. Keep up the good work guys!!

I sold my Tahoe on October 19, 2016 to that dealership so the warranty work that was performed was done falsely under my extended contract mind you the warranty work that was performed was performed on November 26 of 2016 when I confronted the dealership and told him what they were doing and that it was illegal and falsifying documentation by using my name the finance manager got so mad you could tell I cought them in a lie and he was very rude to me after I explain to them I sold the Tahoe to them and they were supposed to submit my refund for the rest of remainder of my extended warranty and that they never did so I never called him a liar however I said the person that said they would be turning that information in did lie and that it was falsifying and lying to the warranty company by submitting such work that shouldve never been under warranty. I will never ever give this dealership any business nor will I ever recommend them and I will be sure that anyone willing to listen to me will hear my story. I am not a mean person I am not a rude person every time the service writer recommended something that needed to be done to my Tahoe I didnt blink an eye I didnt question him I never said anything except lets do it. I was not even rude to the finance manager when I was telling him what they did but as I said he got so mad like in as peoples nature they get mad when they lie that they knew they were wrong and all he did was be a complete jerk to me. And thats my Chevy experience! PS I do acknowledge after seeing that acknowledgment below that I hope the Chevy dealer will publish my response, but I know they will not. And I hope that GM incorporate GM receives this and can explain to me how this is it wrong in this wasnt inappropriate of this dealer to do
