Thank you for the wifes heart ache and costing me over $1500 in the last 5 months on the ring and bands I purchased from you. - Started out working with Eric, which was nice, but now the only one in the shop is Evan most the time. - The diamond fell out a week after the wedding. It sounded like it was loose but Evan told us it was fine. - Got it replaced but it still sounded loose. Insurance claim + deductible 300$+. - Paid to have them weld the bands together even after Eric said they would take care of it. Evan said there was no note on the account and wouldnt call Eric to ask him. 400$+. - Lost half a size with welding and had to pay to have it resized. 180$+ after getting upset and Evan getting sick of hearing from me. - Tried to leave messages for Eric to call but he never did. - Somehow after adding the third band with diamonds the ring appraisal went down over a thousand, after asking about it Evan redid the appraisal and added 3000. - Went to another jeweler to have the diamond and setting looked at because it sounds loose. Basically the crown is not right for the diamond and barely holds it, there are broken/fractured prongs holding the other gems, one green gem is fractured from the heat when it was welded. Another 600$+.

I brought my watch in to get the back put on because it had been taken off when I got the battery replaced at Batteries Plus and Batteries Plus could not get it back on. I was told they would need to send the watch to their watch guy because they could not get it back on in store. I was also told I would be charged the price of what it would cost to get a battery replaced from them, which I was fine with. It took about two weeks for them to call me back and when I went in to pick up my watch they told me they needed to replace the gasket in the watch when they put the back on and that I would be charged for this. The watch is very new and the gasket was not damaged when I brought the watch in so I thought this was a little weird. Also, when I picked my watch up, one of the bars that holds the band together was missing because apparently their watch guy forgot to put the bar back and lost it. They were able to replace the missing part and put the band back together and did not charge me for that. Overall, not horrible service but a little unprofessional and suspicious about the "broken" gasket.

Asked them to order ring and they said 5 days, it still had not arrived by the 15th day when I was leaving town for surprise engagement. They knew when i ordered when i needed it by. They were rude and could care less about my business. I asked about a coupon they have on website and they made me print it off only to throw it in the garbage when I brought it in. My fiance and I are way happier we went to Jareds in Maple Grove. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THURBER JEWELRY!!!!

If i could put 0 stars for this place i would.I brought my ring there to get it fixed.they told me it would take about 10 days and the price would be $299.so it took them 4 weeks to fix it and when i came in to pick it up they told me i have to pay $497.Bullshit.Nobody called me that price will be hire, nothing.. On a bright side i got my ring back and would never ever go back to this place.Horrible.Dont go there to fix your jewelry!
