Meeting John was more than a pleasure. John takes an interest not only in the service you may request him to perform, but in you as a person. From the moment that we sat down in his office we began to have a very nice discussion about our businesses, the neighborhood, and life in general. I really felt the "WOW Factor" that this was a professional who viewed not only his jobs as important, but the people he was serving as having inherent value. Nothing was rushed or hurried, and every questioned received a thoughtful answer or explanation. It is almost an aside to report that the quality of the work was 5 stars, absolutely fantastic, and that what I received at the end was above and beyond what I expected. I had hired John to refurbish and appraise a diamond engagement ring. He got the job done in about 24 hours and the price was unbeatable. I highly recommend Jewelry Specialties to ANYONE looking for any service pertaining to jewelry. Thanks for the fantastic treatment and experience!

I first found John on here (Google Reviews) when I was looking for someone to appraise my engagement ring, I saw all the positive reviews and thought, with all the good reviews why not. I was so surprised, he has been even better than I expected. He reminds me when I should clean my rings and I even went to him to make two custom wedding bands to fit my halo style engagement ring. He is charging me almost half what Authors quoted me. It was important to me that they matched my engagement ring as close as possible, John understands that and has been so helpful in creating my dream wedding bands! I used John at Jewelry Specialties to update my wedding ring into a more contemporary design. I consulted with several custom design jewelers prior to finding Jewelry Specialties and chose John because he appeared to be the most patient, cost effective, and attentive to my needs. It was extremely important to me that he use my exact wedding diamonds in a very similar fashion. Thus, John completed several 3D computer drafts of proposed revisions until we had created exactly what I was looking for. He was conscientious about keeping me informed during the entire process and was able to work within my time frame. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have had multiple great experiences with John and Jewelry Specialties. Most recently I needed a ring for an anniversary gift. Having procrastinated, I needed something quickly (within days), very nice and within my budget. I was sure that I would have to make compromises, especially considering I had a pretty specific idea of what I was looking for, but not a budget to match. Im still amazed that John found a way to create a ring that perfectly matched the style I wanted, with the stones I wanted and within my budget - and he delivered it in time for my anniversary!

After quite a bit of research, I was lucky enough to find Jewelry Specialties, and finally get the appraisals I needed for my insurance policy. Professional, fast, great prices. I gave my agent a fist full of his business cards to give to her clients. Id go back in a second to get other items appraised.
