Bait and Switch I purchased a 2014 Suburban in December 2014. While comparing vehicles at different dealerships in my area, I had them all quote the SAME specific things so I could compare apples to apples. These items were their Suburban, 100k GMPP warranty with $0 deductible, 1yr of XM radio, 1yr of OnStar, 2 years of scheduled maintenance, transmission cooler, WeatherTech floor mats for 3 rows and cargo area, 3M protective paint film on the hood, fenders, and lights. Ryan had what appeared to be a good price on the package when on 12/23, Steve quoted the warranty would be $2,600 as the final piece and the test drive that day was good. We drove out the 47 miles to the dealer again the next week to purchase and pick it up with our 3 kids. It took forever to get everything written up. Evidently, I was told their normal practice is to sell you everything in pieces which I believe is so you don’t realize as costs mount, the total ends up being more than initially quoted. We met with Lisa to get floor mats, transmission cooler, and film quoted. Their costs were higher than just looking up the floor mats on the internet like the other dealers did directly from WeatherTech. Lisa was able to correct the cost there. Her film was more reasonable and the cooler more expensive so it was a wash. During the 1+ hour waiting period for Lisa to show up and hour to get the costs quoted, Steve mentioned they were not able to do the 2 years scheduled maintenance of oil changes and tire rotations. While I was disappointed, I did not see this as a reason to stop the deal because I was getting everything else I requested quoted. After waiting another hour so the dealership was now closing, we finally were talking with finance about the extended warranty. Steve said he was going to prep the car and setup the OnStar and XM. Their first attempt on the warranty was to bad mouth the GMPP warranty and try to get us to go with Ally. After looking thru their Ally brochure and finding out in the fine print we would need to bring the truck the 47 miles from Wyoming to Buffalo for warranty service I told them no. Then they quoted the nearly $4000 for the GMPP warranty that Steve quoted for $2600 plus shortchanged the mileage from 100k to 96k on top. I was about to walk out. They agreed to split the difference at $3250 which is $650 more. TALK ABOUT BAIT AND SWITCH!!! They had worn us down and the kids were cranky so I reluctantly agreed because we had everything else. I was then unhappy when I called OnStar (like Steve asked me to) and I found out I only had a 3 month trial and not the 1 year quoted. Astounded, I checked the XM and found I was played for a sucker there as well. I have tried emailing Steve (realizing I want to have this documented if it came to that). I was basically blown off and offered to get some batteries for the headphones. I was told in his few years of selling cars, nobody asks “me or the store to buy XM or Onstar for them”. None of the other dealerships had an issue and some even offered so it must be his inexperience selling. I have tried contacting the dealer through their satisfaction survey and NO response. I have been a loyal Chevrolet owner since I was 16 (almost 30 years now) but given the current bad taste in my mouth, I will definitely never shop at Ryan Auto Mall/Ryan Chevrolet, never recommend them, and will think twice on purchasing a Chevrolet for my next vehicle

We drove all the way from St. Cloud to shop for our vehicle. My mother in law just purchased a brand new van here a couple months ago. She said she had an amazing experience in general, and also enjoyed her time with the sales person she had. I walked into this experience pretty sure there was nothing that I would fall in love with ( and I absolutely had to in order to purchase anything). I loved my Land Rover I had, and really didnt care for anything else. I needed to upgrade myself and my family, and after I bought my husband his dream car for his bday, he felt it was time for me to get something new as well. Never have I had a brand new car, nor did I care to that much, and I really didnt want a have a car payment...so I kind of had a bad attitude about everything. SOME HOW...Samantha appeared in the same area of the lot that we were looking, and introduced herself. We drove away not really sure what we were doing or what we were looking for. Being husband and wife, we drove in circles over and over and argued until we finally went in, and my mother in law asked for..."Samantha". I told this girl everything I wanted, as did my husband. There wasnt anything we even liked enough to test drive. Well there was one...where we first saw Samantha! It was the only one that looked appealing on the outside, and the only one like it in the whole lot. She insisted a test drive...while we drove she told me all about it, and why it had everything I wanted, and more. ( she was good...she actually listed to what we said we wanted...(glad we had a woman sales person lol jk). She hit it on the nose! 2015 Dodge Durango, Black with chrome trim, nice rims, fully loaded, and dealers package. Everything you could ever want was in it, or on it! We...I fell in love!!!!!!! It catered to our whole family, as well as all of our needs and wants. Samantha was such a sweetie, super nice, very knowledgeable (great competition for the guys), great listener, positive, and hands down...she knows how to sell. It was all meant to be, because after we were done with the financing and all the boring stuff...we found out we were her first sale! When we first saw her in the parking lot, she was actually bringing a car back that didnt work out. That could have been a low for her, and crushed her spirits. Nope, that girl still greeted us with a smile as she was walking away from parking the car she could have sold, and what could have been her first sale. Its ok, WE were supposed to be her first! I would recommend her to every single person I know, and anyone who is looking into buying a vehicle. I will also be back to this location, and this location only when I buy any vehicle...all because of Samantha. I also really liked Bre, she was great as well Thank you for the great experience Ryans!

From the moment my wife and I walked through the dealership door, Kirk Crowell made us feel very comfortable. We had no intention of buying a car that day. It had been close to twelve years since we had visited a dealership to check out cars. Money is still tight and with its price point, we thought the new Avenger might be the car for us. Although a nice car, going from the large Concorde we own to the Avenger was quite a difference. (much smaller) Kirk went out of his way to answer all our questions and then suggested us to look at the Chrysler 200. He told us up front that it will be a little higher but still in our budget. We took one out for a test drive and yes, the car had a much better feel to us. It was well appointed and seemed much closer in style and comfort that we are accustomed to. Although not a Chrysler 300, This was like a slightly smaller version of it and at a price we could afford. Now we had some decision making to do. Like I said before, we were not intending to buy a car today and we didnt. Our 2002 Concorde still runs well and looks pretty good. Were not in a hurry to buy a car. We told Kirk that we needed some time and he was very compassionate about our needing time. He understood and we never felt pressured by him or anyone an the dealership. He printed off information on the 200 we test drove. We went home and I scoured the Internet on the Chrysler 200 and even contacted a couple other metro dealers on pricing. I even got a hold of a family car broker who did a lot of checking. He called me back and said Ryan Auto Mall is giving you a pretty good deal I can only get to within $500. "Wow", I thought to myself. They are giving us the best price around with all the Chrysler and their dealership incentives available . I asked my wife "You want to buy a new car?" "I dont think we can do any better anywhere else" I called Kirk and asked if the car was still available and it was. We drove it home the following evening without any buyers remorse. Kirk Crowell made buying our new Chrysler 200 relatively painless for us. Much better than anticipated. I really think its worth your time to stop into the Ryan Auto Mall in Buffalo and give Kirk and the team the chance to earn your business. They did a great job.
