I got really excited to find a place that didnt expect much down and accepted bad credit because I was in that sort of financial predicament. The lot upkeep was very poor, where as the majority of cars were covered in cob webs and the spacing was congested. I looked at an 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse hoping the car would happen to be in a better condition than the dealership itself...what an impractical thought that was. Up close the car was rusty with deep scratches and they were wanting $6,000 for it. Blemishes and red flags aside I still decided to give it a shot. They gave me the keys for a test drive and I remained with some excitement left, that was of course until the car wouldnt even start. So much for a test drive huh? Maybe Im just picky but in my opinion a test drive shouldnt require a tow truck. Returned the keys back and didnt waste another minute. The only reason I gave this place 1 star instead of -10 is because at least it gave me a good laugh. My advice to anyone out there with bad credit & not much cash is to still never just settle. After searching through some places on E 14th I ran across a much more dependable small dealership. The place that won me over was called Caliber Car Co. Even if Calibers current inventory doesnt appeal to you, give any other place a chance over TBK. Trust me.

I have been paying on this car almost 2 years now and its been broke down more than it has drove. Ive called every single time its broke down and Ive only been offered help fixing it one time and they didnt end up having their guy fix it because "he was too busy and didnt want to do it." Every other time I was told its your problem. Everyone Ive spoke to there except the woman is extremely rude. When the head gaskets blew after having it 2 months and I called to see what they were going to do about it I was asked "so you want to own a car but you dont want to pay to maintain it? Which is ridiculous because one I didnt ask for them to solve the problem for free but I had only had the car 2 months! They dont care about their customers at all. I have put $3000 in the car since I got it in August of 2014, the first $1,000 after only having it 2 months and it still has problems! I cant wait to get the piece of crap paid off and be done with these rip offs. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you dont EVER buy a car off of this lot. They care about money and thats it!

I bought a 2003 Ford Escape from them. After doing paper work while driving it home I got on the interstate only to discover there was a horrible misfire. I took it back and they admitted to me they put used parts in their vehicle and put yet again another part used part in it. One of their mechanics test drove it and came back saying there was no misfire, there is still a misfire to this day and they wont do anything about it. I called them yet again today because all the wires in the tear end started burning and smoking while I was driving down the road, the girl that answered has horrible customer service and told me they cant predict the future and we need to call a shop. Bottom line is they say theyre selling reliable cars but they only put people life in danger. They are a horrible company and I will never be purchasing another vehicle from them again.

We traded in two hunk-a-junks for part of our down payment, and although I wasnt very happy with the amount I received for them, the Customer Service and the genuine compassion of the staff, completely satisfied us. We chose a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, because with 4 children, the third row seating was an absolute must! We knew that the vehicle was "As Is" with no warranty, but upon driving off the lot, we noticed issues with our back hatch door. The sale had already been finalized and they could of just turned their heads and walked away, but instead, they invited us back to fix our problem for FREE. And they even fixed another problem they had noticed with my passenger side window, while working on it. We are very satisfied, and extremely appreciative of TBK!!

I love the SUV I bought in October 2014. 2004 Kia Sorrento with I think it had 68k or so miles on it, up to 84k miles now, but all on me. I did have a problem a few months in with the camshaft position sensor, the part cost $125 to fix. No problems since then tho. I feel like I got very lucky with this purchase. The employees and owner were very nice, he gave me $900 trade in on a 98 Chevy Blazer that wasnt in immaculate condition but was still decent. Only had to put down 200 cash and get the insurance on it. The interest rate is little high, but expected since I had NO credit when I purchased the vehicle. Have a few little maintenance things to do on the vehicle, but other than that it is going strong. Loved this place and the experience.

I also bought 2 vehicles from TBK, both also broke down within a month of purchase. We did pay to fix the one and, again, it broke down a few weeks later with another problem. My cousin also bought a car from them a month ago and, surprise, surprise, it is sitting in the driveway completely out of use. I do understand what kind of vehicles this place offers and with no credit check. They are not the best condition but I do expect that when shelling out a $600. down payment and $75. a week per vehicle it should last a few months. I feel horrible that I directed my cousin to purchase his car there. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to them.

This place has helped my family so much. They sold us a car even when we had bad credit, they do amazing car repairs, very fast, so generous, they get their job done, they refinanced, and they even helped us on things other than on cars. This shop is a great place and I define toy recommend. Dont trust the other ratings, the lady that said there was spider webs went ballistic at the shop and threw keys at employees and was very disrespectful. The cars they have a great!

I purchased a car from them in March of 2012. The same day I got it, it died on me. 8hrs after putting a $600 down payment on it. I was irritated, but than it just started working again, been going strong for 4 months and its not that bad of a vehicle. I owe less than $1,000 on it now. Just a few more months and it will be paid off.

they are terrible at service sold me a lemon jeep grand cherokeewith in 4 days of having the car i tried to take the car out of town an had to get towed from waterloo iowa n they wouldnt refund my tow or fix my car if i could give them negative stars i would don not shop with them

Found out that the vehicle they sold me was a salvaged title even after reassuring me that it was not. Now not only do I still owe way more than its worth but after two years of on time payments I cant trade for something better.
