This place is the typical old-hat used car dealership that left me feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. First things first, the sales guy that helped us out wasnt a terrible guy, he was personable enough -- but he was too pushy, used classic car salesman tactics ("why would we put new tires on a car that wasnt in good shape?!"), and didnt overall make us feel like he wanted our business due to our budget. He kept trying to sell us on a more expensive vehicle after we told him many times it wasnt within our budget. We literally had to keep pushing back on him...which to me is ridiculous. We know its your job to sell us a car, but why not try to sell us one we can afford? What made me uncomfortable was the entire process. We heard a weird noise as we drove it around. We figured out what the issue was based on our own smarts and confirmed it in the pile of old service records the previous owner supplied to the dealership. We pointed it out and asked them to lower the price. He used all the old tools old car salesman use ("let me run it by the big guy", using the 4 square sales sheet, etc). He fought us on it even though it was there -- in black and white what was wrong with the car. We were still interested in the car, knowing it needed a fix, but were willing to do the fix since we had a reliable mechanic and ONLY if they knocked down the price. Also important to mention: we were REPEAT customers -- we had bought a truck 2 years prior but that had zero impact on how we were treated. We had experienced a better transaction then (which even back then wasnt the greatest), so were willing to give them a second try because they had the car we were looking for. We were there for 2 hours while their "delightful" finance guy ran our application through financing. By "delightful", I mean rude and grumpy. While we waited, we werent offered any water or coffee -- something that every other dealership did offer. The place is depressing and uncomfortable. As a woman and person of color... it was extra uncomfortable. The entire staff are older white males, there wasnt one woman or person of color working. And to me, that means a lot when Im doing big transactions. I couldnt stand to be in the place, so I waited outside. Long story short -- we didnt get financed, which in the end -- was a huge blessing in disguise. The experience didnt feel right from the beginning and Im so happy we brought our money elsewhere. We ended up buying a car in CASH in the price range we could afford at a dealership that was full of young sales people who werent pushy, were super friendly, offered us coffee/tea the minute we stepped into the lobby, and their staff was a mix of women/men of all diverse backgrounds. If you like white male-dominated spaces who use gross sales tactics on you -- this place is for you!

Asking Questions
I was in about a month -ish ago. The salesman (Steve) was great and there was zero pressure towards me. THANK YOU for that! I had a few questions on a few cars he was more than willing to let me drive any car, see the service records. He knew what he was talking about, very confident. I would give him an easy 5 star rating. Finally, when I did make it to finance. I was waiting to speak with Josh (?) He was on the phone. For a Saturday late morning they were less than busy. However, this finance manager was able to leave his office three times, talked to other people. Never making any attempt to even acknowledge me. Two other salesmen said hello three times, asking if they could help me with anything. Clearly they even noted how long I was waitting. They were both blad (did not get their names). Waiting would not have been that much of an issue, If I could not hear the the Mgr. Josh- on his phone(s) talking. He was selling house siding or some roofing materials.... I think he spoke to a brother/family member as well. All while I waited to speak to him about trying to buy a car. I was unaware as a business of Lexus you allowed your managers to run a side business while buying customers were waiting. Seems very unethical to me. The elder man on the floor at his desk seemed as if this was all very normal behavior. If I could hear all this, he surly had to hear it to.. He showed zero issues with this behavior. Too add to my great displeasure, after finally speaking to Josh, almost 45 minutes later, he was very upbrut with me. He seemed very distracted. Maybe because his cell phone kept buzzing. Offered to send me home hed call me in an hour or so ... that was at 12:30 ish. By 1 p.m MONDAY!! I still had not heard from him. The sales guy, Steve, called around 2ish, left a message. Apologizing that they had not got back to me. He was "willing to help with whatever he could" very personable. I would have no issue giving him my business any time. Unfortunately, I did not have luxury of time to wait for the finance manger- Josh, to sell his housing material for a side job, to get back to me on his own terms. I needed a car then, I went to another dealership right down the road and purchased the same car. I would not give one star to Josh in finance. Manger or not, he was ...something else... Maybe selling home improvements is where he should be investing all of his time and not in finance for a car dealership. He seemed to care a lot more about that. After all he had great deal of knowledge about the home improvement business and it seemed when dealing with him, cars and clients were just a nuisance and we were wasting his valuable time.

First mistake was actually going into this dealership. Second mistake was buying the car without an inspection. I love this car but it has been nothing but problems. I had to wait 10 days before I could finally get my car inspected, from my preferred mechanic, which is why I risked it. After the inspection here were all the problems: leaking head gasket (I checked for this but the engine had been cleaned when I bought it), heat shields needed to be replaced, cracked alternator belt (also knew about that), battery needed replacing (kind of figured it was the original after all), and several smaller things. At that time the dealership paid for my head gasket to be replaced. Since buying it in December I have had to have new tires put on it, light bulbs replaced, break pads and now possibly rotors, my ac leaks, and my stabilizer on the left side needs to be replaced. I was told to call them if my ac needed to be looked at since I wouldnt know if it worked of not until it got warmer. They never called me back. The only reason they get even a 2 from me is because they replaced the head gasket. But the fact they still put it on the lot as great condition means they are probably lying to you about everything they sell. Just dont buy from them, dont make the mistake I did.
