They have a reasonably sized comic/manga/nerd section, right in the middle of the store. Definitely a large selection overall, but like all used bookstores, youre at the mercy of trade-ins if you are looking for something particular. Also, the employees were able to help us by checking in a database. The prices are not too expensive, with the rare exception, but they run coupons and sales (like email sign ups or memorial day was additional 20% off) and that can help a lot.

Dont bother selling your books to them, they just rip you off. They should buy your paper backs for at least a quarter and hardback for 50 cents each. If you have a book worth selling do it yourself and stop giving them your books. You are better off giving them to a second hand store for the tax write off. If you sell to them with 30 books youll only get $1.50. So stop giving them your books till they start paying you for them.

This is one of the smaller half price books, but the pack in a staggering amount of books, music, movies, comics etc. My only complaint is their prices when you are selling to them are based on internet values and possibly mysticism where they offer you a penny for a DVD. Books are worth selling usually, movies are better off going online or a place dedicated to just non book media.

A great place to browse if you are buying books, music, movies, video games, even some board games. If you are selling, however, my rating would be more like 3 stars, because you are not going to get a lot for your original buck. For a lot of items you can donate to your local public library instead and get a tax-deductible donation.

Very disappointed in the payment I got for my 5 boxes of books. They were super busy so I think they were just working carelessly. Ofcourse they know that noone would say...."put them back in the boxes and Ill take them back home" They do have a good selection. Ill go there to buy, but not sell to them.

Nice variety. I found a few books for my 2yr old fairly quickly. Couldnt find a bathroom for her though, luckily she was distracted enough to check out quick and go somewhere else. Probably would have bought a ton more books if we didnt have to leave quick. Wonderful staff at check out.

This is one of my favorite places! I have shopped there many times and always got good help when I needed it. I have only sold things a couple times and I feel I got a fair price each time. The staff are always nice and funny too if you engage in a conversation. Highly recommended!
