I was what I would call a loyal customer, having spent several hundred dollars over the past three years getting shoes repaired at The Shoe Store. While I was never very impressed with their customer service, I stopped doing business with them recently after one of the salespeople (might have been the owner?) was downright rude when I asked them to correct a repair that had gone wrong. The salesperson actually asked me if I had another place that could do the repair! Well, after giving it some thought, I did find another place that does shoe repairs much cheaper, and treats customers very well. I do not recommend The Shoe Store unless you want to be overcharged by extremely rude salespeople. Obviously it was time to take my business to a place that values loyal customers. Unbelievable that The Shoe Store does not recognize the importance of good service, especially in todays economy.

I usually never write reviews but The Shoe Store/Shoe Repair just exceeded my expectations. I had three very nice pairs of leather boots repaired. Two needed new heels and one pair was a very tricky fix - there are straps that are threaded through a loop. The loops were falling apart and they created custom leather loops. All the work was beautifully done, and very high quality workmanship. Everyone I dealt with provided excellent customer service, the price was reasonable and the turn around time was pretty quick. I am glad to have this type of service available so close to home. Shoe/leather repair is a dying art and these people have it completely nailed. Take your shoe/purse repairs there - you will not be disappointed! I am not easy to please and they just exceeded my expectations -cant say enough good things! Thank you!!

I dropped off a pair of shoes for minor repairs on a Wednesday with an assurance that they would be finished in time for a flight out Friday. Three hours later I received a call that they were done. When I went to pick them up, I was greeted by name and the shoes looked impeccable. I absolutely recommend this place for both a quality repair and quick repair time.

Great sales staff and all shoes are high quality. This is a old fashioned shoe store and their goal is to make you happy and walk away with smiling feet. Great customer service. The 1 star review must have had something personal going on.

I am so glad I found the Shoe Store! They are able to put an orthotic lift on the outside of the shoe in the heel. Makes it so much more comfortable. Bill is so nice & helpful, Great service!
