As I was checking out, a lady with the associate number: 0780, was really rude and disrespectful. The cashier did not want to accept any of the money that I used to pay with. My change came up to 9.43, so I told the cashier if I give you seven cents you can just make it easy and give me 2 quarters. The cashier (who was a disaster and I dont even know how she got the job) insisted that her drawer would be off. I told her that her drawer wouldnt be off because Im giving her the change. The cashier there shut the drawer and started shouting and screaming at me, where everybody at the store was looking at me, where I felt really embarrassed and not wanting to go back ever again. Afterwords, I knew that she was a total street reck that didnt know how to count change, so I insisted to speak to a manager. The manager was friendly but didnt do much other than go talk to her, if she did. When I am formed her that I am a math teacher, and I know what I am doing the cashier said " you dont own this place, I work here, thats none of your business, and if I wanted to I can scream at you all I want. " Save yourself, go somewhere else! I will never shop here again, and I hope that associate finds a job that suits her. The associate working at the cash register should not be working there because she doesnt know how to count change, and doesnt know how to customer service & maintain her self.

Very rude, unprofessional. Sales woman billed the incorrect item. and we went to return the item 10 days after which we did not want, we came to know that it was NOT on the bill so impossible to return it !! Store Manager Teri and Loss Prevention Leader Dennis(probably) threatened to call security on me and my pregnant wife when we lost our patience with them. they were not at all ready to understand that "INCORRECT BILLING IS POSSIBLE". they didnt believe us at all, made us stand and wait for an hour or more at the counter, even went to look at the security tapes to check what was picked and billed 10 days back, but tapes were not clear enough and the return of the item was denied !! it was hell of an hour for our family full of embarrassment and mental agony. I wont forget it all my life !

I just purchased a dress for my grandfathers funeral, and when I got home I noticed that there were 3 stickers on the item. I started to peel each one back individually and guess what, the MSRP on the dress was $65, yet the store had it marked up to $95. I am very very very dissapointed JCP. This is fraud and you should be ashamed at yourselves. I will never every shop here again. I have always been an avid Kohls shopper and now I know why!!

Gail in jewelry was VERY unprofessional. Very rude with no compassion. If you dont get approved for financing she announces it for the store to hear and shames you afterwards. Will NEVER recommend shopping here especially for high ticket items. If you arent approved they shame you. What a DISGRACE.

This JC Penney has a great portrait studio. Reasonable prices, great photographers and very friendly staff. Always a great experience and always happy with the end result. Barb is a great photographer.
