Disc Replay is without a doubt one of my favorite places to visit. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, your mind is full of memories, temptation, and regrets (from selling your stuff 10 years ago on eBay). My review on Disc Replay is two-fold, as a shopper, and as a seller. As a shopper I immediately fell in love with this store. They had a wide variety of titles over many different platforms, cheap movies, and controllers for any system you may need. My biggest concern was keeping inventory - so many times you see this style of business start so hot, but ultimately run out of games to sell; Disc Replay manages to ALWAYS have a good selection, which is not easy to manage. From my visit when they first opened, to my visit last week, they have always had a selection that left me satisfied. Pricing - The pricing at Disc Replay is fair. You will find that the going rate for a game (especially older ones) in store is typically close to what youd get it for online, except you take it home with you. If you go often enough, you are eligible for sweet discounts that make it so worth it. As a Seller, Disc Replay is as equally awesome. Naturally you dont get the "market" price (that wouldnt make sense as they wouldnt make money), but if you opt to take "store credit" over cash you will get a value that is pretty darn close! I havent sold much as I am now trying to buy back all my eBay regrets, but if you have older games to sell, dont want to deal with the hassle of selling online, but dont want to get ripped off, head to Disc Replay!

Ive been here many times over the last six months or so, and every time, even if I dont actually purchase anything, I come across another treasure that you wouldnt find at any other electronics or media store. Id call them "the pawn shop of childhood treasures", but that wouldnt be a fair comparison. If you can understand that theyre not going to have everything that youre specifically looking for every time you go there because of their unique business model, then youll love this store. The staff is always willing to help or to just talk to you about the things youre looking for if there arent a lot of other people in the store, and can in some cases point you in another avenue towards finding what youre looking for. From NES to Gameboy Advance to Xbox One and PS4, youll more than likely find whatever gaming apparatus or peripheral youre looking for. Theyve also got whatever you need to satisfy your inner geek or movie buff; DVDs, Blu-Rays, movie posters, TV series and more. The Livonia store has been there longer and therefore has more product, but it always seems I find more quality items at this location, including many many CD purchases. Definitely give them a look if youve got an afternoon to go out perusing for lost treasures.

Getting kinda irratated with their ps4 controllers and who allows them to be traded in with some of the issues they may have.. i drive a total of 18 miles out of my way avoiding 5 game stops to enjoy giving my time and money to a fun organization with older games and good sales. But they need to inspect their controllers with alittle more attention. This is my 3rd time now within the week and finding time to make it back out to swap controllers again for a 3rd time. The buttons are find its always the agnal sticks and the way u turn. Etheir goes extremely slow in one direction or spins you around when you go to turn it delays and keeps you moving when not touching the controller... just unhappy to have to keep wasting time and gas to keep trading it out when i could of paid the the 10$ differential for a new controller.. still just keep switching out controllers till i get a working one i suppose, even though i should get some sort of discount off a next purchase or controller swap with store discount or credit. Just hate wasting time with this and to get home and find out it happened once again.

There are two things I love about Disc Replay. First of all, the selection is amazing. Ive never come to the store and left disappointed. I usually go in looking for movies, and I always find a great range of films at great prices. Also the pop-culture-y stuff (the Funko Pops, posters, etc.) never disappoints either, I got a Jesse Pinkman Funko for my dad for Christmas, it was in great condition and a few dollars less than I couldve got it on Amazon. The other thing I really love about this place is that when I shop here, Im usually left alone by the staff unless I approach them first. If I ask for help the service is prompt, but nobody follows me around, hovers while Im shopping or--my personal pet peeve--tries to persuade me to sign up for a store credit card or rewards card. When I check out no one guilt-trips me into leaving tips or donating to a store-picked charity, and Im never badgered into reviewing or talking up the store on social media. I love that the staff manages to walk the line between being friendly and overbearing. Keep up the good work guys :)

Oh. Em. Gee. What a fantastic store! I always feel like a kid in a candy store (or "insert cliche here") when walking through the aisles. As a video game collector, Im always extremely impressed by the selection of both newer and older (my favorite) systems and games. Every visit I make, I usually walk out of there with something in hand. The prices are also fair compared to most online retailers, so dont feel like youre getting ripped when buying something. On the reverse side, the selling process was quick, painless, and fair. Now, while the merchandise is one reason for me to come back, I gotta give major props to the staff there at DR (can I call it DR?) Not only are they friendly and courteous, but their knowledge far exceeds that of some other game stores that Ive been to. Plus, theres usually some wrestling DVD playing at the counter, so that gets points from me as well. Youve got a fan and customer for life, DR. Well, unless I move far away. Then maybe Ill visit every now and then.

This store is absolutely amazing! Its trade in values are double if not higher than GameStop! I came here looking for any old gameboy or gameboy color Pokémon game (Aka I was looking for Red, Blue, Yellow, gold, silver or crystal.) I wasnt getting my hopes up high though. But when I went to the old school section... my god. Their selection was truly amazing, there was Hundreds of Nes, Snes AND Gameboy games! And they were so amazing that they had STACKS of Pokemon Red Blue and Yellow! STACKS, like, 9 each game! Their prices were cheap for what they were, and I went out the store as happy as ever. GameStop will never be visited again...

worst customer service I have experienced, I called them to see if they took tablets they said yes come on down and we can take a look at it...drove an hour down there and they basically told me we dont feel like testing your tablet to see if it meets requirements. also the manager was giving me an attitude because they closed in 30minutes...apparently it take 40mins to test a tablet? wrong!!! I went next store to game stop and they looked at it and "tested" it in under 10minutes!!! but of course it being game stop they low ball you...I give game stop 5 out 5 stars because they talk to customers with respect and politeness...
