BRIDES BE AWARE!!! 2 of my girls went to Unique Lady to get their bridesmaids dresses and paid their money before the deadline (3 months ago). 8 weeks before my wedding, I get a phone call telling me that the dresses were never ordered. When I spoke with the owner I let her know that I spoke with someone on the phone 3 months earlier and she told me that one of the dresses had been ordered and the other would be ordered soon. The owner yelled at me, offered no kind of solution, and insisted that the problem was mine. She told me that if I wanted the girls to get their dresses on time they would have to give another $40 for a rush fee. When I told her that it makes no sense for the girls to have to pay more money when they are not the reason that the dresses were never ordered, she told me that the rush fee is actually $60 but shes giving us $20. As if that helps! She insisted that her employee would not make that kind of mistake (as if as a bride I would want my girls to not have their dresses in time for the wedding). I asked her why I was just now receiving a call letting me know that the dresses havent been ordered when my wedding is in 8 weeks and the dresses were supposed to be ordered in March! She responded by telling me that it is not their job to call me and tell me that the dresses have not been ordered and they were under the impression that more girls were coming to choose dresses. She also told me that she would be "annoyed" if someone kept calling her and giving her updates regarding the bridesmaids and their dresses. I cannot for the life of me think of a single reason why I would have been annoyed at getting an update, especially if something wasnt being done! After seeing that I was not accepting the terrible solution that she offered, she told me "I dont normally do this but I will make an exception and give them their money back just so that I dont have to deal with this any more". My girls were willing to pay the $40 but after this experience I dont even want to give this company our business. Why would we pay someone for such terrible treatment and terrible service?! I would definitely recommend thinking twice before using Unique Lady for your wedding party needs!

First off let me say that my dress was beautiful! I am not here to tear down the store either, some of the people were very nice and accommodating however for my wedding experience things could have been a LOT better! The first time I went to Unique Lady was when they were the only shop in the area who carried the line of dresses I wanted Mori Lee. I called they were so nice over the phone, very helpful, I went in that day and got fitted for a dress similar to the one I wanted. It was all great they even worked on a payment plan for me to pay my dress, I even picked out my bridesmaids dresses, I was in love. It all went down hill from there. I had to go a few times and everytime it was a problem, when my bridesmaids came in for their fittings to find the right dress we waited for at least 20 minutes and we had an appointment. Finally the person came over to help and we were pushed over into a small corner because they had overbooked themselves with appointments. The next few times were for follow up appointments and I had to stand around for 5-10 minutes before someone even acknowledged I was stamding there, they gave me appointments for the wrong date after I drove 20 minutes to get there. When I went in for one of my last fittings they told me my dress would be ready in 2 weeks well when I came back 2 weeks later it still wasnt ready and it had all the pins in it from the fitting before, then when I started crying in the fitting room about my dress they promised it would be ready that same day but I had to come back that day, my bustle wasnt done and my MOH had to go to work so she couldnt come back with me. It was finished that day but at this point I was so fed up I didnt care. The day of my wedding I was still pulling out pins from the alterations, my MOH couldnt find my bustle, and all of my bridesmaids dresses were either too big or too small. All in all you can see I had a horrible experience with unique lady I would not recommend them to anyone unless their service gets 100% better! I will add that Donna was awesome if I did have to go back I would only work with her, and the price was phenomenal because it included alterations, etc.

DO NOT BUY A DRESS HERE, ESPECIALLY A WEDDING DRESS. This was by and large the largest source of stress and frustration for my wedding. 1. I was told the dress would need special hemming which is why I purchased the "all inclusive" alterations. That was BS, because when I went for alterations the dress dragged but they said it was normal and would go away with heels on. 2. They will hand you your dress, still in the bag, with pins and receipts hanging everywhere, to go try on yourself. Dont expect any help, as once youre in the drsssing room they will go wait on other customers or simply ignore you. 3. Coming out of the dressing room is the most awkwatd experience. No one even makes eye contact with you and you just have to stand there while other customers stare at you. Good luck getting ANY help. 4. A bustle is EXTRA. They dont tell you this, as one would assume this is an alterations on a wedding gown. But no, its $50 per button. 5. They cant wait to get you out the door. My final dress wasnt even done for my final fitting. I came for my appointment and they had me try the dress on with pins still everywhere. Then they needed more time to finish it. So I had to come back to my dress all bagged up. 6. Because I couldnt try on my finalized gown at the store, i had to try it on myself and almost couldnt get the thing off. They also gave me no info on how the bustle worked. THIS STORE MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. No bride should ever have to deal with this train wreck of a business!!! Literally, ANYWHERE ELSE WOULD BE BETTER. Awful awful AWFULLL

After going to a few shops and I thought that a long day of shopping was wasted. However, we ended up stopping by Unique Lady since we figured it was close enough. It was honestly one of the best decisions I had made. Everyone there- the staff and the other customers- were so easy to talk to and it made the experience a lot more enjoyable. I basically went in there without and idea of what I wanted; but that didnt matter because I was put in every type of dress to figure out what I liked and didnt like. It was such a fun time shopping because my family, the other families there, and all the employees would give their feedback and help and we just had a great time. I found my dress and I, amongst many other, love it.
