More commonly called The Sally in Royal Oak, you will find much higher end thrift store shopping here. That being said you can also look for a little higher price tags as well. The one thing that is really a huge bummer about this store is they display the greatest stuff in the window that has long been spoken for by every day customers( people who work in the city or walk in town) or by employees. Knowing that I have stopped asking for anything in the windows years ago! Save your breath people! Find something inside

I dropped off an old dresser as a donation here recently and their setup for doing so is great. Donations are accepted in the alley on the west side of the building (north bound only, enter from 5th street). They have a team of young men to unload whatever you have. This was on a Saturday when I assume donations are frequent. The young man who unloaded me was very polite, offered me a receipt for my donation and took care of everything. Will definitely donate here again.

Way over priced!!! They claim that since they are now a "boutique" their prices are a bit higher. But...You can get the same items at any thrift store and pay a much more reasonable price. Why would anyone pay over twice the amount at this "boutique" Salvation Army store when you can find the same item at other locations for less than half what theyre asking. I wont be going back!

I love the convenience of a resale shop that sorts out the top-quality treasures from the junk. You pay more than if you dig through a typical thrift shop or visit garage sales all day, but time is money. I got a steal on a pair of black glitter TOMS-merchandise you wont find at your average thrift store. Thanks, Sallys, for making it easier and more fun to shop resale!

Fun to stop in and walk around. There is always something interesting to see and they recently went through a facelift and improved the layout (and upped the prices!). Weve found some actually nice pieces of furniture here and have had some great deals on glassware for holiday parties. Eclectic stuff. Good for house staging furniture! All for a good cause too.

Funny that the prices are more then retail. 5 dollars for a used coffee cup or 40 dollars for a pair of used jeans. I understand that some of the items are higher quality but that dont justify the high prices. You will not find a deal here. You will pay more at this place than if you go to a retail store. Lol

A lot of times there are good things in this store, but it is definitely the worst priced thrift store I have ever been to. They never work with you on the price either it just is what it is. For a store that prides themselves on being charitable, they sure know how to rip off a Royal Oak customer. -B

This salvation army used to be great, but a few months ago it apparently changed from a "thrift store" to a "boutique" (their terminology). Essentially, this means there are now less items at higher prices, and hardly any mens items at all. I will now be going to other salvation armies instead.

For once a thrift store that isnt dirty! Well decorated place. I like that. But, prices are crazy high! Thankfully the one item I got was on their tag sale. These arent thrift store prices. But, you wont have to dig in junk either to find nice things as pretty much everything is nice.

Great selection, great people serving you. However, its a boutique, not a standard thrift shop or "dollar store." Items and clothing are priced to sell but the merchandise is good quality, vintage stuff. Plan to spend some time when you go, its worth it.

Im a bargain shopper and if Im going to a thrift store, Im expecting cheap prices. This "Boutique" is the opposite. But good selection at times if youre willing to pay a high price for someone elses used items.

This place is ridiculously priced. If youve actually got tons of money and want to slum it for a day...this is the place for you! If youre looking for fairly priced used clothes, dont bother. I wont be back.

Great place to go for upscale used items. There prices are slightly higher due to it being downtown and better or higher quality selections. Also be prepared to pay at least 1.20 for parking.

Drop off area for donations is in the alley behind the store. Felt rushed trying to unload a large donation. At least had one person helping unload while others waited to drop off donation.

I was wanting to buy several items but couldnt because it was a window display I think if you have the item it should matter if its a display or on the shelf will never come back

This is a big place and they always have a lot of good stuff. Also dropping off donations is easy in the side alley, you dont even have to get out of your car.

This is a very nice store. Very clean and everything is very organized. Customer service is good. I think this is the best Salvation Army in the area.

Much swankier than your typical SA and yes, the prices are astronomical. Selection for clothing isnt bad, but most of the items are still ugly.

I think it is still overpriced considering these are donations and second hand clothes and items. Value World has more reasonable price.

This is not a normal thirft store, the prices here are out of control. Dont come here if youre really looking for hidden gems or a deal.

Not my kind of Salvation Army location. No free parking and prices are high compared to other Salvation Army stores.

Always have great deals. From 25, 50 and 75% off tags! Also some good quality name brands for womens clothing.

Now that this has been made into a "boutique" its horrible. Low selection and HIGH prices for a thrift shop!
