I worked at Southgate Salvation Army before.Treated bad, so I had all my friends/family quit shopping &donating here.They play SAME20 songs.EXPENSIVE. Middle School politics.When new people started, they were individually introduced to everyone EXCEPT me.Most people got said Happy Birthday to, EXCEPT me.I was the only 1 NOT invited to Christmas party, to be held AT A BAR, yet they drew names for Secret Santa in front of me.EVERYONE should be treated with respect at work.Funny how when wed get insurance, AND they needed a way to save$ to pay for security system, suddenly we couldnt meet B.S. quota though working FAST, got hours cut so we lost insurance &were bullied into quitting or fired, then replaced with people from rehab centers, who they dont pay.98% of managers/supervisors were rude/bullies.So were about 80%of employees &rehab center people there.They go through managers FAST.1tried to keep me from getting paid. I went above her head.They moved her to other store instead of firing her.

I am a college student and I really enjoy to shop at thrift stores. I have traveled around to many of the Salvation Army locations in Michigan and havent seen prices this high yet... when I got there I pretty much immediately regretted going there because I know that I could go to pretty much any other locations and get a better deal. If this is the closest location to you then I guess its better than nothing but I would highly recommend checking out other locations if possible so you wont get ripped off as much as this one. I will not be going back to this location and hope that they fix their prices for those that do.

Incredibly overpriced!!!! I couldnt believe that this donated stuff was the same if not more than new items or clearances at well known retailers!!! This is truly a disgrace because they are supposed to be helping the less fortunate; instead they are trying to capitalize on every penny. Extremely brand focused!!!! To say the least, management desperately need to lower overall prices to salvage whatever ounce of the "Salvation Army," purpose, image, vision, & mission statement.... If any at all!!!!

This store has a whole host of kids cloths in their stock. We were very pleased to find a wide variety of clothes for many sizes. Our only gripe was that they are far from well organized. Other Salvation Army stores sort them by what type of garment for your kid it is, but here it was all thrown together. If you have the time to look through everything you can find some good deals and good kids cloths. We will definitely be back to this tore for kids cloths.

I have always donated to this store. Went in yesterday to look around and the womens clothes were so over priced it was ridiculous! $10 for a used sweater I thought this store was supposed to help people in need. Needless to say I wont be back or donating here anymore.

They over charged me 10 dollars yesterday... Dont say all white tags are 50% off and 5 for $5 cuz i got white tags that were .99 meaning they should be .50 not part of the 5 for 5 im pissed hope they comp me my money or they can have there clothes back
