I have been coming to this store off and on for 8 years. I have never had a problem, until I had to do a exchange. A refund for them is out of the question. Lets do the math, I purchased a curling iron for 7.99, it didnt work well, I purchased another curling iron for 16.99 and exchanged it immediately, for another curling iron totaling 24.99. Well, I was charged 24.99, whereas I should have been paying the difference, 24.99 - 7.99 = 17.99. They refused to give me my credit and attempted to talk to me as though I was mentally challenged. I gave them all of the receipts I had and a copy of my account & which it clearly showed all debits and no credits from their store. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I do not do business with dishonest people.

This store is awesome!! I found it thanks to a store I had frequented for years suddenly always being out of an item I purchase regularly. I googled for beauty supply stores&this one had very good reviews so I decided to give it a try. The young man I spoke with on the telephone before my initial visit was extremely cordial&very helpful. Things improved from there. The staff in store are friendly,knowledgeable,&most important to me so very very friendly! This is now the ONLY beauty supply store I patronize. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! My thanks to the staff for having competitive prices,items always in stock,&(most importantly to me)friendly demeanors. I hope Sunny Beauty Supply is in business for years,&years,&years to come!!

They think all black people steal. I had a horrible experience in there last wknd. I bought some tights and as I was leaving the store the sensor went off. They asked me to come back inside so they could check my purse me and my cousin went ham on them we told them to call the police cause you aint going in my purse. They are a very disrespectable group of people and need to be boycotted. There music is tired they think their playing what we want to hear but they dont know what they think they know about our music. They dont ever have to worry about me ever spending my money in there. I also hope other people don"t let them look inside their purses.

The employees here are amazing individuals. The prices are right on point. What won me over is this... One day I went into Sunny Beauty feeling not so great about life in general. An employee named Jesse introduced herself and helped me with my puchase. Then she did something else... She acknowledge the stress on my face and gave me some wise words of encouragement. Sunny Beauty Supply won me over as a life long customer that day. Sometimes its just the little thing that changes someones outlook on life. I definately recommend this clean, organized, friendly, affordable priced store.

The staff is absolutely terrible. They act like you are bothering them & they didnt understand anything that I was saying- I paid good money for the items I purchased and I will never give them my money again because that kind of service ruined it for me - also I referred so many people there over time and I have made sure to let them know ( as they agreed anyways) to not go back and spend their hard earned money on people that are ignorant and miserable.

They Prices are outrageous! I went there to get a closure piece and it was $44 now i went to a beauty supply on 8 mile and gratiot and got the. SAME closure for $20 . dont deal with these people they are crazy. They have a thing against black people to the lady tried talking to me like i was crazy they are awful dont go there

Most of the staff is fine, but some are extremely rude. When I went there to look for a wig, I was accosted about being on my phone (not at the counter, in the aisles). It seems they are scared of price comparisons. Look elsewhere for your beauty needs folks. This place is awful!!

Service here is HORRIBLE! They dont speak english well, they are very rude, and their hair extensions are HORRIBLE quality unless you purchase their $300 Bohyme brand. They also lie and say weave is Remy when it isnt. Bad service, bad store, never shopping here again.
