I have been to this store no less than 5 times to sort out a crib I ordered before my son was born. It was due to their disorganization, that my crib was not delivered to my house on time and just sat in their warehouse for three weeks, and I had to drive down to their store again to find out why my crib and conversion kit wasnt being delivered. When it was finally delivered, the crib I purchased was delivered defective, so I had to return it and get a new one shipped. The new one was also defective, at which point I returned the crib and crib conversion kit, and exchanged it for a different model. The crib was delivered and assembled no hassle a couple of weeks after my son was born, but 15 weeks later, still no crib conversion kit. When I went to find out what was happening with my conversion kit, I was told I had already picked it up. After a very long back and forth with their staff, (four different employees) the conversion kit was finally located in the back of the warehouse somewhere so I could take it home. No one ever called about it being received, no one ever sent it out for shipping (even though I had been told shipping would be on them this time), no notice was ever given about my conversion kit. They never know what is going on with an order, consistently blamed the shipping company as to why things werent delivered, although they had never contacted the shipping company or myself about the order arriving until I went to the store each time. Phone calls do not get your order put through. Their managers do not seem to know what is going on, employees can not use the computers to track your furniture, and the whole store is a mess. I dont think anyone actually cared that the baby was born without having a crib I ordered 3 months before he was born, and that when whole situation wasnt resolved until 3 months after he was born. I would rather travel even more out of my way to go to the one in Auburn Hills, or Flint, than to return to this store location, but now Im going to just be dealing with Buy Buy Baby and Amazon so Babies R Us doesnt get another dime out of me.

These clowns gave me the wrong Crib TWICE!!, I had to wait a week for the new one to come in (which despite my complaint was handled very well by Eric in the stock room). The new crib came in and I went to pick it up, it took "one hour" yes one hour when they were slow in the evening hours mid week for them to figure out how to inventory the one coming back in and give me the new one(like this was my problem). I was held hostage by uninformed employees and a manager who was literally busy eating her dinner in a break room while I waited. I wasted an evening starring in disbelief at the poor girl behind customer service who was trying to check people out as a register and handle a line of returns. After they figured out what do a nice guy named Justin helped me load the crib. The box was too big It didnt fit into my SUV so Justin helped me unpack and load it into my truck. The last piece that came out was a round back not flat as my wife ordered. That was the second time the order was wrong. Had we not unpacked it I would have been wasting another night at this same place trying to get the correct one and I would not be in the as good of a mood. Thankfully Justin was a human being who also seemed frustrated by this but he stayed calm and he took charge. Justin found the right crib and got me on my way. All in All, this place ran as smooth as a train with square wheels. Thanks to the guys who were a big help but I will be looking for a new Baby Store for us to frequent.

This place is okay. I love having our registry set-up here since their selection I find is a little bigger/nicer than that of similar stores and the quality is great however the customer service here is horrendous! We ordered our Crib/Changing Topper/Glider from this location all on the same day and waiting 3+ weeks to receive a phone call letting us know it was in. We called to check-in on the order and were informed that it had been in for about a week and they had been waiting for us to come pick it up. How were we supposed to know with no phone call? Not the biggest deal but whatever. We were excited to pick everything up and it was recommended that we called before hand so they could have the order ready for us at the front. We called around 11:00 AM to let them know wed be in to grab our already purchased items, and arrived around 3:00 pm. The items were never brought up front and we waiting at the check-out for 40 minutes before finally getting a manager involved. Cashiers were not friendly or smiling, and seemed more irritated than anything to help us out. Really disappointed in their customer service considering my husband and I were so excited to get this furniture... they kind of ruined our mood.

I would recommend this location 100% I had a play gym that was purchased off my registry and shipped to me. The order was placed from an out of state family member so the order was not placed at this location. The right merchandise was ordered however the wrong product was shipped. I went to the Northville location to correct the situation and the manager Robert was amazing! He was verryy knowledgeable about his product and knew exactly where the correct product was located. He was fast, efficient, apologetic, professional and very kind!! I happen to be a customer service manager for a large box retailer and have to say he was great at what he does and I truly appreciate great customer service when I see it.

There are some very nice people that work at this Babies R Us, however if you call and ask about returning something one person will tell you one thing and another will tell you something completely different. Get to the store and nobody knows their head from their rear and you cant get the product returned. If by chance you can it is only with merchant credit. A product that is in brand new condition and dies on you a few days after getting it will not be excepted back without a fight. Anyway, remember the name of the person you talked to on the phone... that helps back them into a corner so they will return it (like they should). This is just one of three bad experiences I have had at this Babies R Us.

Returns are a mess they dont make sense they dont understand their own coupon system. Pieces dont match or go together in the boxes theyre supposed to match its just a mess everything is more overpriced than any other store go to Target or go to Walmart go anywhere else but here. I am returning everything and re-purchasing everything with the gift card because when I did a return they put it on a gift card even though the majority of my purchase was originally in cash; just to keep me coming back. I am sure they wont honor the 20% coupon I had with the original purchase. I leave here so stressed its not worth it I just want to get rid of the stupid gift card and get as far away from the store as I can.
