I have bought snails and fish (guppies) from this place and every time I brought them home some of my fish died and so did the new ones. My friend and I were there two weeks ago and found a black betta, she already had a white one and decided to do a divided 10 gallon and decorate it to look like the yin yang sign. So she paid almost $8 for the black crown tail betta. She had it in its own tank for a couple days then put it in the divided tank with her $20 white elephant ear betta. A couple days later she noticed its health deteriorating, she treated it (she has had fish for a long time and knows fish diseases), it died the next day. Shortly after her white betta was showing symptoms she continued treatment and a few days later her betta was bleeding from its gills and died! I bought a pleco and put it in with my fish to help control algae, I do regular water changes and have a heavy duty filter, but still have some algae. Getting one would be better than scrubing the sides of the tank and decor so much. The pleco died after two days and when I took it out I noticed ick! I took it back since I was told they had a 14 day replacement policy and they would not replace it, I was angry but okay with it since the store is selling sick fish. I made sure I got my money back though. I then treated my fish for ick but it hasnt gone away yet, all I have to say is I better not lose my favorite fish that I bought from a good fish store. They arent exactly the kind of fish that are easy to find. I was very disappointed with the experience with fish and the crappy uninformed customer service. I will not be going back. Petco by the mall is MUCH better.

I love Petsmart,and shop their frequently.Although a little pricey, I have never had an issue with food live or packaged,and the animals available for purchase are vet approved/checked.We purchased my sons lizard there last summer and he is great.They answer all our questions we have about all our animals, and if they cant they will find a source that can.It never smells bad(I smell everything being 7 months pregnant)even though there are kitties temporarily housed there from rescue,the grooming salon, and many other live small animals(that , from personal experience can be very odorous) for purchase.I have always seen the animals clean,and taken care of.It is worth the higher price knowing that the animals we may purchase in the future as well as what we have purchased were taken care of,and the food is maintained well,and checked frequently.:) They also have pet training classes that I have used and work very well.

AWESOME store.Every time I shop at Pet Smart I leave totally impressed because the customer service is OUTSTANDING.I have shopped at many pet stores and Pet Smart out shines them all.The staff that Pet Smart employs are very helpful and very personable ,they always have time to help you they always LISTEN to you and always have what I am looking for...ALWAYS. THIS is why I would recommend PET SMART over any other pet store that I have EVER shopped at...I actually drive out of my way to shop at this Pet Smart because it is SO worth it....customer service and product availability as well as well set up store that is very clean....the employees are happy there and it shows..it makes for happy customers!!!!!

The hatchet job pet smart did on our puppy...so pissed. Half of her face shaved, balled spots, patches of hair all over her body, ears look horrible with strings of long hair hanging and her ear was bleeding because they cut it. She disnt get bathed and her nails didnt get done also. Im embarrassed for her and for the idiots who cut her dont know what to do from here.

First reason i love petsmart is because you can bring your pets in the store. Every employee is so friendly with you and your pet.. They ask you before giving your pet a treat. They have a variety of pet products. They have cute animals to adopt. The worker are nice. And they offer a dog training classes

The groomers are great and they really care about your fur baby. We have birds, a cat and 2 Yorkies. Our only gripe is our birds establish toys and food they enjoy, then we come back to restore,and they stopped carrying it.

We were greeted right at the door by a nice young lady. We adopted a cat and she helped us register for a coupon book and give credit to the Noah Project Shelter. Quick, friendly and EASY. Very pleased!

Every time I go to this particular store, they are out of what I need. Saying they are sorry doesnt change the fact that it is inconvenient for me to drive all over looking for the next pet store.
