These guys always treat me right, prices for parts are competitive even with Amazon. Even better, I dont have to wait for shipping when I need a part today! They have been good at giving me advice as well as making sure I had the right part for the job. While the prices on their bike may seem high compared to Walmart or Meijer, the quality of the parts are much higher. I love going there, the staff is always friendly and the selection is great. Just wish they were open Sunday, but they definitely deserve the day off :)

Brought my mountain bike in to have the "puncture proof inner tubes" put on both wheels. Looked fine when i picked it up but when i got home i noticed they had installed the narrow valve stems which i cannot fill with any of my pumps. When I went back and asked the manager why they did that he had no explanation and never apologized. He offered to sell me an adapter! Less than a year later I had a flat with less than 100 miles of riding on pavement! I would never bring my bike back to this shop.

My first experience with Breakaway Bicycles was terrible and Ill never return. It was my first time purchasing a bike and I had lots of questions. After I brought up several concerns, an employee named Julie got frustrated with my questions, rolled her eyes, and walked away! I was blown away by the disrespect I was shown as a customer spending over $500 that day. I will be searching elsewhere for other businesses to buy my bicycling needs.

These guys are the best. I went to three other shops trying to get a wheel with a broken spoke fixed...they all told me it couldnt be fixed and Id have to buy a new $$$ wheel. I passed Breakaway, my wheel was in the car, so I turned around and stopped in. They said it could be fixed. And guess what...one day later, it was fixed! These guys earned all my future business by treating me right.

My son & I have been to Breakaway Bicycles many times over the past few years and have ALWAYS had a Great experience! I dont know what the one ladys problem was but I have never heard a bad word about them from anyone. Nice people, great staff. I would Highly Reccomend them!!!

I had shopped a few different bike places and all were ok but Breakaway in Muskegon had a great selection. The staff was very courteous and willing to help with what ever I needed. They even ordered me a back up bike in case my girlfriend didnt like the color.
