My wife and I have been shopping for a few weeks, seeking the right place and right bikes. We are new to cycling and have been looking at road bikes at shops all over the greater Lansing area. We ended up going with Spin for a couple reasons. First, is their outstanding customer service. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are informed before making a purchase. And after the purchase is made, they do a great job of making sure you know what you need to know in order to properly care for your new bike. Second, they have very competitive prices. Jamis bikes offer great bang for the buck. In our price range, we werent able to find anything that compared in terms of quality for the dollar. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Took my bike here last summer to have the rear brakes replaced and the rear derailleur adjusted. Had a little issue when we came to pick it up, but nothing that would stop me from coming back. So before I leave I ask the guy what he thinks I need to do to keep it in good shape. He tells me the lower bracket is loose and that the head tube should be rebuilt. So I asked him what that would cost and he says about $150. That was a little more than I am willing to spend when I only paid $100 on the bike 2 years earlier. So this spring I take it to River Front cycle and ask the guys there the same question, To which I get basically the same response. All but the price $40.

Amazing! We placed an urgent call to this shop, as we were packing our son for college and realized he had a flat on his bike. They held the shop open for us, as they were 10 min. from closing time. They were personable, professional of ridiculously efficient. They not only fixed the flat, they adjusted the brakes and straightened a bend wheel frame. It was less than 30 min. and we walked out of there with a bike good as new and at a very, very reasonable price. The best customer service we have gotten in years.

I went to Spin Street looking to purchase a new bike. The owner had a bike that was last years model and he offered a very good price, but he needed to put on new shifters and a derailleur. He had used them to repair another bike. He said hed give me a call in a couple days when he had the bike together. I called him a week later and he hadnt touched the bike and asked for another couple days. A week after I had called him I went to another bike shop. Its been a month and I havent heard a word from him.

I loved these guys, if I was more into bikes Id become great friends. First off their prices are amazing. Also unlike other bike shops, they wont charge you if something happens. I came in with a flat, and I left with a new one but got a flat again, they changed the tube without having me pay. The next day there was another flat and they didnt make me pay and found the problem. They fixed that problem and Im riding without another flat. I plan on getting all my biking gear from them.

Chad is the owner, and has a pretty nice shop, he dosent have a ton of merchanise oh hand, but its all very high quality and reasonably priced. If you are a commuter he has a great selection, and its nice to have a real cyclist also be a bike shop owner, and it shows. I also had a problem with him ordering something for me, and it not showing up, however he had it over nighted for me free of charge and offered to do the repair for free. Which I think more than makes up for it.

Chad, the owner, is a great guy. Really embodies what a small, local business is all about. Ive been there a few times and always had a great experience. Hes done some on one of my bikes and replaced the grips for free when I bought new shifters. Nice touches like that go a long way. The in store selection isnt as extensive as other area bike shops, but the turnaround on ordering and getting the items was quick... and worth the wait considering the focus on service.

Excellent sales and service. Quick turnaround servicing my bike, sometimes on the spot. Great advice while not pushing you to spend too much. Excellent selection of parts and accessories. A few bikes or trikes in a wide price range on hand. Only thing that keeps it from a 5 star review is the limited bicycle selection on hand. Most other local shops have many more bikes, but not the friendly feel.

Failed at replacing an inner tube by myself, so I decided to take it to a local bicycle shop. A friend of mine recommended the Riverfront shop, but after looking at reviews I was a bit skeptical. I decided to try out SPIN Bicycle Shop instead. I was helped by Chad, who IMMEDIATELY changed my inner tube for only 8 bucks. Extremely efficient work and very friendly staff.

Drove 38 miles to get a minor rim truing paid $17 got back mounted tire still out of true...WTHeck. Live and learn. ***UPDATE Chad called me and explained how he trued my wheel...i now realize my review was too critical and I was misinformed. Just the fact he called me back made me think YES this is GREAT customer service which is VERY RARE these days.

One month to get a tune up, brakes bled and new pads installed. I had to call numerous to find out the status on the bike. As I left, a another customer asked me how long my repairs took. When I said a month, she held up a repaired tire and said, "same thing here". Nice shop, polite people, but I will be going elsewhere for service or repair.

My family has purchased several bikes there over the years and are about to purchase 2 or 3 more. Fantastic price, expert knowledge and tips, wonderful service on my bikes from skilled professionals. Not to mention the owners are wonderful, supportive human beings who do amazing things in our community.

Ive been peicing together a road bike and these guys have been very courteous and helpful. They told me the tools I will need, gave me tips on how to use them, and ordered the parts I needed. I will be doing all my business through this shop!

Great customer service. We felt bad for walking in 30 minutes before closing time to fix a tire. They didnt care at all, "bring it on in!". Great staff, great experience. Ill be going back anytime I need repairs or a new bike

The owner was patient and answered every question thoroughly. The product he recommended has been fantastic. The service we received was exceptional before the sale and after the sale. We will happily do business again.

Walked in replaced back tube, got a kind of mini brake and mini tire true in around an hour on my prehistoric ten speed for around $35. Couldnt have been happier with the whole experience.

Really great place, fixed my bike up fast and the man took the time to tighten my brakes and adjust my shifter for free. Really nice, and friendly, and their cat is freaking cool
