My family of four has given our business to eyecare connection for the last ten years because we believe in patronizing the locally owned establishments in our area. Until now. Last year my 23 yr. old daughter was leaving for the peace corps and tho she had an eye exam earlier in the year, the pc required an exam less than 6 mos. old. I told her to go to eyecare connection and see what they could do to help her out financially as the exam costs were coming straight out of her pocket. The answer? $10 discount. She promptly left there and went to our local walmart, told them the same story and recd a 50% off price! Yesterday, I ran into the highland office and requested 1 contact as I was at the end of my supply (I also wanted to make an eye appt. tho I wasnt due until Nov.). I was told there would be a $30 charge as per office policy because of pt.s taking a contact and not returning. I told the staff member that my family had been patrons for 10 years worth of contacts and glasses and had spent thousands of $$$$$. Sorry, was the reply...well, Im sorry too, that this office is too greedy to see the cost of good customer service that is needed to retain business in this economy. I have told multiple people of my story already, and they too say they will not be returning. Most have said they would not have returned after my daughters experience, let alone what happened to me yesterday! So, I hope that $30 was well worth it to you. I will keep sticking to local businesses , but just the ones that appreciate my patronage!!!

I have been going here since Ive needed glasses. So over 15 years. Im just very disappointed with what just happened and I will never be returning. I just ordered contacts through 1800 contacts. they called Eye Care Connection to verify my prescription. Which I knew they would do. The lady at Eye Care Connection lied and said my prescription was expired. I was 12 days within the 2 year limit for my prescription. She said she can fill the prescription through the office though. Which blows my mind. So its okay if I buy it through them, but not somewhere else? She has completely trapped me, because I need the contacts and cannot afford the $100 contact exam, plus buying the new contacts. Ive always tried supporting them because they are a local small business. But this is unacceptable.

Very good with the customer, meeting all of my eyeglass needs! and doing so very quickly. I lost my glasses 11 months after getting them, and had no problems getting them to replace them for me fpr free! great customer service! I love this store.
