As a healthcare provider, I have typically referred my own patients seeking ophthalmic care to Huron Ophthalmology. I recently setup an appointment for my husband as a new patient. I provided them complete information including insurance contract numbers over the phone. They said that insurance coverage was not a problem. He arrived at the appointment to be told he would have to pay out of pocket and that they did not participate with our insurance. When he asked why we werent informed ahead of time, they said "we tried to call but no one answered, so we hung up." Rather unprofessional. I will be sending my family and patients elsewhere.

I have been nothing but pleased with my experience at Huron Ophthalmology! I was having difficulty with blurry vision that was rather sudden onset, and after calling, was able to be seen by a physician within 24 hours! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helped me along the way. I ended up needed surgery for my eye, and everything went extremely well! Over the last few months, due to conflicts with my schedule, I have seen most of the providers at Huron Ophthalmology and have been very happy with all of them! Wonderful place for eye care! I will be sending my family and friends!

The doctors here are fantastic. Unfortunately its nearly impossible to get in to see one. And why would you want to when the receptionists, the first people you see are so incredibly rude. They change appointments times and dont cal to confirm appointments, then make it difficult to reschedule. They marked me as a no show because I walked out when I had to wait for 1 hour 45 mins in the waiting room and was extremely rude when I said I had to leave. They always run late on appointments always.

I heard great things from former patients about the quality of their Lasik surgery. However I was unable to get reliable service or any call back from the surgical department so I decided to go to another Doctor. If I cant get a call back to set anything up, how would they be in case of a medical issue? Extremely rude customer service when I was able to speak to anyone. Id rather find an office who cares about their patients.

Im a new client and just called today and they got me in today at a convenient time after work. Check in was swift and pleasant. Didnt even wait 3 minutes to get in. Dr. Wolfe and staff were excellent and very pleasant. Will start going for my annual check up too! Highly recommended!
