5/21/2016 I dropped off the tender the week after I dropped off the bike. I personally handed it to Nick. He said he would make sure it made its way over to the warehouse with the bike. If he didnt put notes in, I dont know. He was busy and I was on the way to a funeral. No one said the battery tender was new. It was pulled out of a drawer and handed to me. If I had known this I wouldnt have been negative. I appreciate the offer of the new one. But, now I feel better that I returned it. If you find mine, please let me know. The seat strap, I asked if I should bring it in the next time I got to ride. They said it would be fine until then, it wouldnt come off itself. So I brought the bike back out for the open house. Which I did this morning. Your guys took excellent care of me and I was back on the road in minutes. What the heck happened to this place. I went to pick up my bike on 5/6/16, I forgot to call ahead. The battery needed a deep cycle charge. So I had to go back. Picked up my bike from them on 5/13/16, yep its a Friday. The leather strap that goes across the passenger seat was put on backwards and now is somehow pulled down over the driver seat is such a way that I have to lift the strap to open my seat. But the most annoying thing is. I Didnt get my battery tender when I picked up my bike. I forgot about it until I got home. Call the next morning, they say sure come on out and well give it to you. I drive over 15 miles one way to get there. They begin looking for it. It cant be found. They send someone to the warehouse find it. It cant be found there. An hour and a half later, I receive a tender from who knows where. I hope it is as good as my missing tender. I get a shrug, with the offer that if it is found laying around theyll call me to come back out to pick it up. Really am annoyed.

I have never felt the need to post a bad review but after months of problems, I felt that I should. I have to say that I am very disappointed. The day that I purchased my bike, it took them 6 hours before I was finally done. I waited over 2 hours just for financing. The salesman that I had was great and very accommodating however; they let him go because he was not fast enough I was told by financing. The financing paper work was screwed up and did not even receive a customer acct until 2 months later and still had to go back to sign new papers. I had the stress of calling the bank and Motor City several times with no apology. I also did not want the 1800.00 extended warranty that I was told that I had to have and still fighting with them after I signed the cancellation form two weeks after I purchased the bike. The form was sent but MotorCity HD did nothing to correct it. I am still waiting for the refund 6 months later. During this 6 month period, I have left messages with the manager and never received a response. I am happy with the bike but will not go back to Farmington for service or anything else.

Ive a been a Harley owner for years. Ive had five bikes during my life time but family sort of got between me and riding so I sold them. Had a meeting I was early to recently so I stopped in MotorCity just to burn some time. I was warmly greeted by "JJ" at the door. I told him that I was just looking and had no intention of purchasing so "dont waste your time on me". Made him no difference. We talked about Harley history and folks we knew in common. I ended up buying two bikes, one for me and one for my son. There was no pressure in the store and no phone calls to be dodged at home while I decided if I wanted to purchase. He secured a great rate for the loans and has followed through on service. Very responsive at any time of the day by phone or text. Heres a guy that clearly gets paid for doing something he loves and it shows by how he treats his customers.

Had them pick it up 3 times to fix that leak cost me $1,000 the first time still leaking when they brought it back it wouldnt start the second time had him take it again to fix the leak and get it to start and fix the leak again get a back of third time exhaust is loose the pegs scraped up from them scraping the ground must have took my bike for a long spin I think they spent more time riding it then fixing it and I noticed they beat the hell out of my brake calipers when they did the rear brakes they called and said had $50 in rewards that was going to expire I figured maybe they should keep that I wouldnt step foot in that dealership again update just noticed leaking more. I forgot to add my other bike they fixed exhaust bracket so the exhaust wouldnt come loose again see the pics see what happened to the bag

I would actually give zero stars if I could. Now a year later I finally got the used bike I bought from them on the road and now safe to ride. Paid a 500 dollar fee for prep and safety inspection. Picked the bike up, road it home and the charging system didnt work. No tail light and tea brake pads worn to almost nothing. They didnt care about the safety of the customer. After 400 in more parts that I bought elsewhere, I fixed it right. I would NEVER buy a thing from Motor City again. Not even a poker chip. I didnt even go to Harley fest this year just because it was at that dealer. On a good note, Wolverine Harley Davidson now has my business. They care about their customers. Thank you Motor City Harley Davidson for taking my money and not taking care of my safety. The bike is now fixed with no thanks to you.

Simply Amazing!!!!!! The day of their move from the old building to the new location "House" in the Parts Dept. went through all the already packed boxes to locate what I needed. He didnt have to but went above and beyond!!!!! Today I went up there again re: maintenance for by ride and was personally greeted and made to feel as if I wasnt just a customer but a friend. House and Wayne (one of the GMs) sat and took the time to go over everything with me - no pressure tactics - just straight forward bike talk and expectations w/o any hidden agendas so to speak! I am simply blown away at the service and staff and will continue to do business and promote for them! One seriously impressed and happy Harley owner who highly recommends this location!

All in all, I like the dealership and their selection; however, when I inquired about whether or not they performed dyno tuning for my 06 StreetBob with a V&H Big Radius 2-1 and power commander, the service tech went out of his way to tell just how horrible power commander was and that I had purchased an inferior product to the "screamin eagle" aftermarket tuner. When I asked why another Harley dealership in the area dealt with Power Commander and performed dyno tuning, he elected to start trash talking the other dealership. I just thought the lack of professionalism was very off putting and decided that I rather spend my money at a smaller shop that had people that knew what they were talking about anyways.
