We had a great experience purchasing our new mattress at Merkels recently, from the knowledgeable sales staff who encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to try out all the different models of mattresses to the delivery team that did an excellent job bringing in the new mattress and removing the old mattress and all packaging material. The delivery team noticed some damage in the base and told me that they would let one of the owners know. I received a phone call shortly after from one of the owners to let me know that the base would be replaced. Now that is great service!

I love the two floors of furniture to browse. They have everything - even the flooring. I love being able to coordinate all the pieces for my home in one place - it takes out the guess work, and the worry of decision making (especially when you have to order something). And their staff is really helpful. They know their stuff and made some great suggestions. I think they are designers because they really knew how to plan a room well. Im definately going back for full design service on my next project: an extra room Im confounded by.

The furniture is so beautiful! I love to look! The service - not to be confused with sales, but real service -- is excellent. Need to take a pillow home to see how it looks with your current decor? No problem. Wondering about other fabrics/colors? No problem? Theyve got a wonderful bargain area in the basement, too. We purchased flooring for our remodel and got a great deal and still have the rug we bought there over 25 years ago. The quality cant be beat!

We bought a leather "Stressless" chair/ottoman from Merkel Furniture that we absolutely LOVE. Its the most comfortable chair we have ever purchased over the years. It just wraps around you. Perfect for watching T.V, reading and definitely perfect for napping!

Superb quality and workmanship! Weve bought two couches and an entertainment center from Merkels over the years. The staff is always helpful. Had a pet accident once on some couch cushions. Merkels went out of their way to help us replace them.
