My husband & I visited this location to pick up a online order and last minute camping gear which was nicely displayed in the first few asiles up front for us to quickly gather what we needed. We are both in our late 20s and had been working all day we stopped by here prior to unwinding after a very stressful day. My husband visited the asile over from the one I was in and came around the corner and booped me on the head with a pool noodle being playful and mind you no one was in the asile with us or around us. As I started laughing the Walmart warden came marching around the corner ""aka larger lady dressed in business casual attire -- Im assuming a ""manager"" and rudely asked if we where done playing around. -- Honestly I was shocked its Wallyworld here we stand grown adults and was just yelled at by this very serious Walmart Warden .. All I could do was ask her if she was effing serious as I laughed even harder in her face?! Then to top it off she pranced around the store on a power trip with a smirk ! So shout out to "Betty" for taking her job at Walmart to the next level and reprehending two grown adults over a pool noodle in a vacant asile.. Get on with stocking & micromanaging your displays -- that is all. Relax a little live a little its not that serious I promise.

This by far is the worst Walmart store ever. Today was the last time I will ever step in that store...I will drive further to a better store. Most employees, if you can even find them, are rude and not helpful. Today I was returning a lawn mower that didnt even get half my lawn mowed before the engine blew. Now the lady at customer service was fine, she told me the gas needed to be out of it first and she said she would call lawn and garden and send someone to assist me in doing that. Took about 10 minutes and one of the typical rude and lazy employees came out and said I had to take it home to drain the gas....would have been fine with that if that witch would have been professional and not rude and snotty...she just didnt want to be bothered...what makes this even worse is that my cousin was with me and she is disabled and I have partial disability so hauling this piece of junk back and forth was not easy on either of us. When we went back, with the gas tank emptied, got it returned and asked to speak to the store manager who didnt bother to even make an appearance, gave up after 20 minutes. Looking to make a formal complaint to their corporate at this point.

I feel as if Walmart is hated by many for various reasons -- and I dont blame a single one of them. Some of their employees are disrespectful, but most are just fine. They sell some pretty low end stuff but a lot of their prices are actually good deals. If you plan on going to Walmart just to grab a few things and make a quick checkout you should be just fine, their returns are actually quite fine. HOWEVER -- this is where I became angry and frustrated. I had purchased a bike from them a while back and had them order it and ship it to the store and assemble it. I asked them for it to be assembled and they told me it will be there in a day. Call and they tell me they dont see an assembled bike. I asked them again and then they tell me they dont see the bike! About an hour later they call and tell me the bike arrived HOWEVER the bike didnt perform well. TURNS OUT THE BIKE WAS A RETURN AND THEY GAVE THE OTHER 2 BIKES TO OTHER CUSTOMERS even though I REQUESTED for them to assemble it. Their customer service is just horrid. Dont buy a bike from online, but I guess theyre an okay store to grab the milk from.

Lots of thanks to Stan and the assistant manger at Michigan Ave. My on line purchase started out as a total nightmare. We bought a tv and we received it at our front door and then turned it on it was foggy and had lines all over. Called the manufacturer, because as the directions say "call us first not Wal-mart". They told us we had to have it taken somewhere to be fixed. Long story short...called our local walmart and assistant store manager and Stan were extremely kind and very helpful. Great guys that made a hectic day a lot more pleasant!!! They really went above and beyond to make our holiday weekend turn out GREAT!! Thanks again Stan and assistant store manager (that I apologize for not remembering your name) Who worked with Stan to help me out with everything I needed. Couldnt of went more smooth!! Much appreciation to the both of you! And thanks for helping me bring my new tv to my truck too!

This store is going downhill fast. The last 3 times Ive been here Ive had to wait in long lines as only 2 registers were open. Then 1 more opened up after standing in line for 10 minutes. The other lane that opened was 6 lanes down and a swarm customers quickly filled it up. So I was stuck to wait as the cashier just stood there waiting for some kind of authorization or manager override. But hey, the "Walmart Greeter" stood at the entrance and warmly welcomed each customer. I feel like telling corporate that this isnt the South, we could care less about the Greeter. In fact, it irritates me to see someone standing around doing nothing when there are 20+ customers in line. I bet the cashiers would speed things up if they were paid a nickel for each item scanned instead of hourly. Oh well what can I do, go to Kroger?

Store is severly understaffed. If you need paint mixed or help with a bike or other large object, forget it. Seems to be a lot of managers but very few associates. Ask to speak to a manager and you wait, and wait and wait. Forget about calling the store, IF they answer the phone, there will not be anyone to help you. I have been in there many a time where a manager is belittling an employee, in front of customers to the point of making her cry. The staff are disgruntled and it shows. Even heard 2 employees talking about how security is not scheduled at times, so the best time to shoplift...lol Truly a joke of a store. Walmart should clean house on the managment and start fresh. Save your time, shop another Walmart or another store.

I come here EVERYDAY in the morning bright and early and the cashiers always recognize me and instantly acknowledge that I am there by asking how Im doing and saying "you again?" but in a joking manner and are very sweet and welcoming...ESPECIALLY for as early as it is...one stocker noticed I didnt see my favorite yogurt I buy everyday and said "I am restocking here..something u looking for?" I said yes..told him...immediately he went to the stockroom and brought a box out and opened it saying "have at it!" Great staff. These are MY opinions..these bad reviews must come from later in the day. Great mornin crew!!

Im upset and will not be returning to that location and I may even stop shopping at this establishment all together ! After leaving from checking out (self checkout), your greeter not only checked my receipt, which I dont mind but what bothered me is her making me walk through the detector with her side by side like I was stealing. She didnt do this to anyone in front of me and that is why Im so upset! To make matters worst the manager got smart with me and asked me what did I want her to do about it ? I told her Im calling corporate! Walmart is tacky and your customer service is poor. Get it together!
