The store itself could use a make over... The game section seems like it was alphabetized by someone with dyslexia, and a lot of the comics and action figures are poorly displayed, which they have some nice big ticket items in that store way under market value. The buy back department is also lacking as well. I brought in sealed vinyls from the 50s/60s and they turned them away, but took my crappy dvds and gave me 90$ store credit. I chuckled and said ok, ended up selling those vinyls for 200 on craigslist anyway. The store manager Julie is a sweet heart and never fails to help anyone the best she can. She goes out of her way to make sure she can find what youre searching for, and if not, she has a clerk put you in the system to notify you when they get that certain movie, or game. A couple of the people that work there seem to be inconvenienced when they deal with you, which is a shame, because I do enjoy this store. I give it 4 stars mainly because as someone pointed out, every time you go in, theres new things to look at... but it shouldnt be a scavenger hunt to find the new items. Id rate 5 stars if the buy back department would make accurate purchases instead of flooding the store with 19 copies of the same game/movie, and if they got prices right on some items... A tip for businesses I shouldnt be able to buy from you, and make a profit... Ive seen 200$ comic books marked at 1$.... Not good for you, great for me.

Great customer serivce and nice organized selection of used and new stuff. Huge DVD and Blu-Ray selection. Huge selection of used video games. Clean and organized. Selling stuff to them isnt that great of an experience. I brought in a huge box containing roughly 150 CDs. They take the box, give you a claim number, and move the box to a desk in the back where they they go through them, pick what they want, and then make you an offer. They return your original box with the desirable CDs removed. They dont show you what theyre taking, and they wont break down their offer into an itemized list. When I asked to see an itemized list they just told me they dont do that and *wont* do that. I advise anyone who takes a large number of CDs or books or whatever to REFUSE their offer and get your stuff back so you can actually *see* what theyre taking. CDs are a little personal to me as they represent about 25 years of collecting, so I felt a little ripped off when they took some number of them at random and gave me $5 cash for those (whatever they were, and how many there were taken, I dont know).

Great place with tons of cool stuff, unfortunately the staff is limited and feels untrained. They are friendly for sure but you can tell they are not given the tools and essentials to really help you. Products are not priced well, I had to ask repeatedly for price checks, and they add unclear discounts on products that you are unsure about being from the store they bought them from or their own prices. They have so much cool inventory, But, Its unfortunately mismanaged, understaffed, annnd a lot of things slightly overpriced. I have no problem paying a few bucks to have it immediately but I wont pay $20 over Internet prices to wait 2-3 days. I really wish I could give a better review for such a cool local place but Im not going to pay insane prices.

This business doesnt do much advertising, mostly word of mouth, & I am thrilled to have discovered it! Its a book (game/music/toy/instrument/etc) buy back store, that resells in great condition only, plus new books etc. The store is big and bright, feels like any other large scale bookstore out there. Most of all the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help bring in heavy boxes of books, explain all their policies, find new books, and recommend others. I wish I had caught all of the names of the people I encountered, but at least I got 2 that I can mention here; if you find Sydnie or Alexa youll get fantastic service. Ill be back soon.

I went there today they had a wide variety of books a lot of them were in good shape, but I was disappointed in how much money I got for 2 hard copy books that were in great condition. I wouldnt go back there again. I go to Barnes and Noble in Rochester Hills, you get a better deal especially if the books are in good shape, but you only get store credit. Felt cheated on how much I got for my two books (paid $9 for 2 books). I got a $1.10 for those two. Not all of there books are in great shape and they still sell them for a couple of dollars. I wish I could get my books back and take them to Barnes and Noble.

Frazzled workers and a chaotic setup. Some of the books are amazing prices and others are ridiculous. Be careful expecting to buy books or other merchandise there and return them; we have very little items they will ever purchase back from us, often sighting condition despite the fact that we bought it in the exact same condition from them a few days to weeks before. My father reads a TON of books because hes disabled and theres very little they will ever buy back of there own mechanise. Good place to go if youre willing to hunt for treasures and not necessarily looking for anything specific.

Do NOT bring collectibles to these guys. I brought my complete in box Pokemon Leaf Green to sell. Employee named Alex offered me $14.00 for it. He even bent up the box and pulled everything out of its plastic. It is the first run with the wireless adapter. I am now convinced, these guys dont know carp about video games, and will damage your collectibles. Even took the Cart out and tried to play. (No duh, Ive kept it sealed for 11 years). DO NOT BRING YOUR GAMES TO TRADE HERE, THEY ARE CLUELESS ABOUT THEM!!!

This place is turning into a joke. As time goes on their prices keep going up. Now a lot of their stuff they are charging more than if you were to buy brand new. None of the employees seem to know how to price comic books , they will have ten of the same books for ten different prices, and its not because of their conditions either. Anyway its becoming not even worth going in there. You can go on eBay or even other stores and get the same things for almost half price.

This is a very cool place to find new and used games, toys, books, and more. I have never seen so many Funko Pop! figures in one place before. There is so much to see, and I imagine the inventory refreshes itself over time, so there is always something new. We did not try to sell any items, so I cannot speak to that experience. We look forward to returning!
