I usually dont write reviews, but this needs to be said: Prices in this store are significantly higher than they are on online retailers such as Amazon, or even on the manufacturers websites. I bought three items on 07/01/2016. ***The combined total was 56% more than it would have been had I bought the items on Amazon.*** (See price breakdown at the end of the review.) I understand that brick and mortar retail stores have higher fixed costs than online retailers, and that these costs are spread out over products sold. Its important to note, however, that other b&m stores (from large chains such as Best Buy to small, family-owned outdoor clothing stores on State Street) price-match online retailers, whereas Michaels, which has an unusually restrictive price-matching policy, does not. Do not buy anything here unless you are short on time and cant wait for your items to arrive. I went there recently to get three mattes cut - I thought a very quick and simple request. I was surprised when they rang everything up and THEN told me it would be a week, but I was willing to wait. A week later I called to check the status and they told me it was going to be another 3-4 more days! I asked if that was normal and she said very rudely, "Yeah, about a week." Apparently they forgot to mention that they dont do the work on site and dont "count weekends" since their delivery service doesnt work weekends. I mentioned that I wasnt told this when I placed my order, but instead of apologizing she just repeated "well call you whenever its ready." I said reluctantly said "ok, thanks" and she just hung up on me. Im going to skip this big box crappy customer service and go someplace local for the numerous projects I have coming up!

Raspberry Cloud

Not so terrific. Their coupon policy states they accept competitors coupons. However, its always hit & miss. They pick & choose which ones they will accept. Seems arbitrary. They dont always follow the printing on their own coupons! Always have to check prices. Michaels prices are usually higher than Joanns.

This store, like so many "brick and mortar " sites these days, has scaled down on site inventory. That aside, an associate named Debbie went above and beyond in assisting me both over the phone and on site today. It is customer service like I received today that keeps me coming back.

A great selection, but there is almost always a looong line at checkout. The staff is hit or miss; some are very knowledgable, while others tell you a product is something they definitely dont ever carry and then you find it two minutes later with help from another person.

Big, big. Lots of choices with plenty of room to browse and wander. They get a bit strict with their coupon usage policies though. :(
