Im not a huge crafter, so the product selection is usually fine for me. Im usually looking for yarn, and occasionally fabric and notions. The reason for only 2 stars is they are ALWAYS understaffed. It doesnt matter what day or time of day, I have never waited less than 20 minutes in a line to check out. My last visit was Wed afternoon at 3:15. There was one cashier and about 15 people in line. The poor girl called for help twice while I was waiting, but line continued to grow, and nobody came. Theres no such thing as "running in to pick something up quickly" at Jo-Ann. It amazes me that I can get in and out of Kroger with a full cart of groceries for the week in 30 minutes, but I have to allot at least 45 minutes to buy 2 balls of yarn at Jo-Ann. Management needs to adjust staffing so they can provide some level of efficiency and customer service.

Often go there with my wife, the dedicated crafter. This store is quite large and has a lot to offer in just about every area of crafting. The Fabric department is one of the few in town (so Im told) and it is always busy. Weve had pictures framed there too and I was impressed by the computer generated preview of the finished product, showing the frame and matting we were trying to decide on. The big thing about Jo-Anns is NEVER GO THERE WITHOUT YOUR COUPONS!!!! Visit their website first, get them in the mail, whatever, but if you pay the marked price, youre doing something wrong and paying too much. Everything is priced to be sold with a discount coupon. Shop right and youll save plenty!

They usually have a good stock of scrapbook paper and cardstock. However, when you get up to the register with 300 sheets of paper, they scan each one individually, even when you have all the same paper. Its so irritating!!!!!!!!! At Michaels, they just scan the top one as many times as there are pieces of paper. Or they use a "quantity key" and just type in how many you have. I shop at Michaels most of the time because I hate standing at the register for 20 minutes, while some super slow cashier scans each page. Its so annoying. They are losing a ton of business from me by this stupid policy! Bad call, Jo-Ann. Change your policies to accommodate your customers, not your inventory staff.

The store is clean and huge. They pretty much have everything you want. The only drawback is they never have enough staff. If you need to find something specific, you need to go hunt down someone who will point in a general direction and say it is over there. Then if you want to buy fabric, there is always a line to get it cut. That might sound bad, but the place is really clean, everyone is nice, and the prices are good. I still use them for all my projects, you just need to know what you are getting into.

I enjoy crafts so I enjoy this store but there is nothing exceptional or exciting about it. Im always lured in with coupons and then leave having not used it because everything was already on sale. I feel like the store layout is pretty self explanatory but I find myself walking in circles a lot, always grabbing things I dont need. My experience with the staff has been generally good.

The store was clean and well organized. Staff was around to help direct you and answer questions. My trip was pretty efficient until I got in line to pay, then there were only two cashiers. This normally would be fine since the store wasnt super busy, but at the time both cashiers were hung up with customers that had a lot of questions/big orders that took a long time to complete.

This is your "run-of-the-mill" Jo-Anns. The incredible experience I had recently was the cashier who decided to help us get more discounts. We came with a coupon which was applied, then the cashier pulled 2 additional coupons off the website for us. Huge deal! Definitely will go back.

They have a wide variety of general craft supplies, artificial flowers, canning jars, fabric and Notions. The store is the store is pleasant music playing in the background. They are fairly expensive. That is why I recommend to use their coupons whenever you need to buy something.

It was horrible! My mother dragged me all over the store for what seemed like hours on end. She had to look at the incredibly huge selection of all the Fabrics including Star Wars Marvels, DC comics,and Cars fabrics its like she had to see every last one of them.

I love Joanns liberal coupon policy. Much better than Michaels. As long as the bar code is different, you can use as many coupons as you want. They only work on regular priced items, however, but that is standard for most craft stores. Very friendly staff!

Great bar that has amazing burgers. Ive been eating here for years and its always top notch. Kind of loud if youre here during a busy time, which is most of the time because its very popular, but still good none the less. Huge selection of craft beers.

They have the stuff. And is always on "sale". Well thats at least what they want you to think. I love the coupons I get. But they are a company that marks their stuff high then puts it on sale to a normal price to make you think your getting a deal.

Terrible customer service two visits in a row! The employees are rude and have bad attitudes. They dont even greet you when you check out (after waiting no less than 10 minutes in line). Head to Brighton if you want good customer service.

Its a standard Jo-Anns including the old people and that weird smell that all these places have. Bottle that smell and make bank. I do enjoy the faded paint on the front wall where there used to be signage. Classy.

JOANN Fabrics as a good place for arts and crafts that is whats best known for! you can probably find other things in there other than just arts and crafts stuff that Im sure. Its worth looking around!

Good for a quick yarn fix for general brand name yarn, the checkout line can get long but they are usually pretty good at keeping things moving. Dont forget to download/print a coupon before shopping!
