Was at Michaels last week. The store is dead in terms of customers coming in, and no employees helping or trying to help customers. I have knowledge in Arts, Design, Photography, Media and stuff. Pissed me off 20min no help no one asking me if I needed help finding something ridicules. There was an old couple who needed help with finding within a budget stuff for a project that would look nice match together with an elegant lettering. They couldnt remember what size photo was but smaller than card they wanted to place it on I recommend as a free lance photographer triangle photo clear sticker mounts to make the work lay flat, look elegant and professional. Micron pens for writing a message ables to show feeling through the lines of each word where as regular pens make a greeting look dull and lifeless. They saved a lot thanks to me and I felt good helping them out. A simple random deed and act of kindness restores faith in humanity! They were happy and said they were appauld by stores -0 customer service and if it werent for me theyd would have gotten uneeded stuff, over budget and never known about better choices Its sad employees not once offred time to help them whatever happened to respect your elders Michaels Store?! Even at front check out employees were disconcerning and cold towards customers. I knew they wouldnt let the elderly couple get a discount unless someone said something so after I was done gave coupon to the poor couple who were tired and just wanted to go home and not deal with cashier that have attitudes. The cashier finally owned the sale and then looked at me mad with a how dare I help customers when I dont even work there, how dare I be empathetic, caring and helpful to an elderly couple at this store, when his fellow employees wouldnt give the time of day mad someone did what they were supposed to do. All I can say is the customer service is neglectful, leaves customers to fend for themselves only to waste money, buy unnecessary stuff because no one knows anything here as far as staff and wont acknowledge customers when their in sight. Glad I was able to do a good dead and the actions of employees at cashier and those unwilling to help customers may karma give just deserts on you and your companies mannerisms.

Went there with an ad for a Christmas tree on Tuesday. Was told they didnt have any. Come back Thursday after the truck gets here. Thursday afternoon was told nothing was stocked yet, and "we dont know what we got yet". They have a no rain check/no hold policy. I was told to "just keep trying, but that we get what we get and we dont reorder". I gave up and went to Menards where they had the same item for $20 more. After looking at all of their well stocked trees, I picked an even more expensive one. By the way I was offered help by three different employees within a very short time. Thanks Michaels for the "great" customer service.

Great selection and clean place. Although I dealt with an employee that wasnt helpful and a bit rude. I was asking where felt would be and she responded with "I dont know and dont have time to be answering these small questions, just walk around and find it yourself". I ended up walking out and going to Jo Annes instead.

Most pitiful yarn selection Ive ever seen at a Michaels. Im used to them having mostly cheap acrylic, but only one aisle of yarn plus a few end caps. No wool at all here. I went for more of a brand I bought at a different Michaels a few miles away. Staff here all too busy to help me. Guess I will purchase elsewhere.

Everything you need to make beautiful products with great coupons avablibe! No one really around to help when needed tho. Love the idea of the push for help button near the caged items, would be a good idea all over the store.

I always find the staff here very friendly and helpful, but not always available and sometimes hard to find. I feel like I always find great deals here and they always give you a coupon at checkout even if you dont have one!

This place has a great selection of craft supplies but the price is far higher than a large store like Walmart or Meijer. Employees are kinda distant in behavior but typically helpful if approached.
