Terrible service at night. The night supervisor avoids work like the plague. Some of the workers try to be helpful but they are under staffed at night. Most of the workers try thier best to avoid bagging groceries, so I advise you to register your store card and use the hand scanners and bag as you go. The prices are awesome that is the only reason I do the bulk of my shopping there. The morning staff is good but is is so hard for me to get there earlier in the day.

In my opinion the Stop and Shop on Boston Rd is the best in the Springfield area. It is not the closest to my house......but I do drive the extra miles because of the staff there. Everyone that I have encountered at that location is friendly and always visible!! Customer service is beyond good!!! For me thats important!! My experience...the shelves are always well stocked! Sale items are in stock!! People! Drive the extra miles! You will not be disappointed!!!!

8/4/16 7:40am. For the second time this week all the self-checkout isles are closed with only 1 checkout isle open and long lines. I was forced to leave my merchandise behind and I walked out of the store. I spend on average $40 to $60 a week shopping before 8am. I will take my business elsewhere until self-checkout isles are opened again before 8am.

Hi martha is my aunt im vanna padilla and she ALWAYS go their to buy my grandmas food shoping. And one time we went their to buy shopping and she had to buy 3 shopping carts and i thought the car was going to get a flat tire but it did not get a flat tire OMG that was magic bye

The Springfield store is pretty decent. Alot of times they have good sales on their meats. And you can find a bargain on their markdown produce. My only problem was the lines were way too Long for me personally.
