I recently spent just about a $1,000 on a new scooter and helmet at IMS in Rockland. I was then treated like a criminal by Jared just listen to what transpired. What happened was when I bought the scooter I jokingly said to the employee who was selling me the scooter I could grab the sticker of another used scooter they were selling. He then replied to me "I did not see anything and that people do that all the time." What the employee implied to me a first time scooter buyer and owner was that it was not a big deal to take the sticker off and put it on my new scooter until I registered mine. I finished purchasing the scooter the employee knew that I had taken the sticker off the scooter. Here is the kicker he writes the wrong date on all my paperwork I need to take to the registry and says to me , "Well at least you can drive it today with that sticker but just make sure you register it because that sticker wont match up with your scooter." So great experience so far I am excited about my purchase and happy with everything. Until I get a call from Jared a week later saying I am on camera stealing a sticker and that I cannot come on the property and that he notified the police and I will be getting something in the mail!! Is this guy serious he took zero accountability for what his employee did and treated me like a criminal not a guy who just spent a grand at his store. I was having a little trouble with the scooter stalling and wanted it to be looked at when I came in for my oil change but looks like I cant come on the property! lol Jared is honestly a joke and I would not buy a scooter from them because I was treated like crap after spending a thousand dollars. Go somewhere else to buy a scooter because these guys obviously do not value customers. If I got treated like that just imagine what else they are capable of if they cannot take accountability for their employees actions. Stay away from this place this was by far one of the most shocking and worst customer service experiences that I have ever encountered!!!

I bought a brand new scooter from this place. It has 61 miles on it. Ive used it twice and stored it for the winter. I went to start it up and the starter is gone on it. I call this place and they want to charge me to fix it. This is unbelievable! If you are a company and you are trying to stay in business in this economy then I would suggest you treat your customers w/a little more respect than this. Stand by your products you sell. They tell me theres a 90 day warranty on it. I didnt by a USED scooter, I bought a BRAND NEW scooter. No miles on it. Any other place would fix it at no cost but not this place. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. Theyre a rip off. Theyd screw there own mother over if they had the chance! So now I have a $800 scooter w/61 miles on it that wont work and no way of fixing it. Great company your running IMS....You need to go away!

There Chinese no named brand products if youre looking for something like a moped or 125cc dirt bike youre much better of going to Weymouth Honda or trying to get something used on Craigslist or EBay also when I was a kid I had a pw80 and then my dad bought me a atv from IMS and I remember him always working on the atv so he just sold it for $50 and when I got a little older we both got Honda dirt bikes I had a crf100 and my dad had s crf250 and we both have to bikes and the pw80 till this day know I can fit in the crf250 but know Im into raceing so I got all kinds of bikes

My experience was more than good. I had purchased a 50cc scooter which I rode and enjoyed for a year. The following year the stator went bad and I couldnt start the scooter. The part was unavailable so it couldnt be repaired. The dealer replaced the scooter for the cost of the repair. More than fair Id say. Im looking for a larger displacement ride now and would certainly buy from IMS again if they have a model thats suitable.

These guys have been know to charge waaaayyy too much for labor so ive always only bought parts. I never really liked there business ways of less but more. But then one day one of the guys who works there on his free time delivered the parts i needed at my work because my moped was broken down. There good people. All my friends have bought mopeds there and a year later were still runnin with 9 mopeds side by side.

I just bought a new scooter off these guys and two days in, my brakes started grinding when I was going in reverse. I called the guy, he says to me Ill check it out when I deliver your lock. That was supposed to be yesterday. He said hed be by today. Nope. Now Im riding around with loud brakes and hes ignoring my calls. Should have known this was too good to be true.

I HAD SERVICE DONE ON MY PEACE SCOOTER BEFORE I COULD GET HOME MY DIRECTIONAL STOP WORKING THE BATTERY I PURCHASE IS NOT CHARGING I WAS TOLD TO BRING IT BACK FOR SERVICE I RENTED A UHAUL THE FIRST TIME I REFUSE TO DO IT AGAIN. AND AS FAR AS SPEEDY SERVICE THEY HAD MY BIKE FOR 2WEEKS UNTIL I CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT IT.

ok when you dropped your scooter off to be repaired you were told they were 2 weeks out which means it would be looked at with in two weeks from drop off then you would be contacted with diagnoses and estimate and upon you approving or not it would be one single day. Be realistic when you rant and rave.

From Chainsaws to Dirt-Bikes this place has a little of everything. The sales staff is very friendly, even the dogs they let roam about are total sweethearts! There is a service department with a bunch of friendly knowlagable guys. I wish i worked in a place like that.

Called and spoke to a sales rep about a masalta plate compactor, was told they would hold it for me for the day. Drove three hours round trip to find out they had sold the last one . These guys dont care about customer service, just care about making a buck.

I have bought 3 dirt bikes for me and my nephew from them bought 2 125cc jest got the 3 bike today a 189cc the gentleman that helped me were very helpful to me a beginner rider and the price were great too this is the place to go
