With Amazon willing to deliver comics to you cheaper than the book price, it takes a lot to get someone into a brick-and-mortar, right? NEC has an open, uncrowded layout and a chill attitude. Im able to peruse the new titles, flip few a couple, and not worry about being hassled or rushed into a sale. That being said, I know that if I were to ask a question, the staff would be attentive. They seem to know whats up. If you are looking for something specific, or if you want a "recommendations" tab to tunnel-vision you into your next title, hit up Amazon; its always going to be the most efficient and cost effective. BUT! If you want to get a vibe for what is going on in the industry and have the opportunity to browse uninterrupted until you stumble upon something cool, a local shop like NEC is the way to go. Ive been a subscriber here for a couple months and plan to be for as long as they are open.

Staff Is Wicked knowledgeable and helpful. Theyre super sweet and friendly people. I was new to collecting and comics in general and the staff were very inviting and took an interest in my interest. If your new or old I HIGHLY recommend this company at any location.

4 stars for having what I wanted and a friendly staff. I do wish someone would sort the bargain boxes into at least alphabetical order. I know those books are cheap, but you probably would have had a $20 or more off of me instead of the $4.

A comic shop for real comics readers - mostly comics instead of toys, clothes, etc. Great selection of single issues, not such a huge trade paperback selection, but theyll order for you. Very helpful employees!

The sale that never ends. I have never seen a comic store run more sales than NEC. Every day of every week sale sale sale. They have lost base with what the customers want. Please give us Quality not quantity

Friendly staff wide array of main stream labels as well as independent comics and if you cant find what your looking for tjey will order it for you been my local comic shop for the last twenty years

This is a great local comic book store with friendly staff, lots of comic books, and magic the gathering cards. Also one of the only places I know of that offers deals on booster packs.

I used to come here as a kid to buy my comics and now I get to bring my kids! Great place to buy both new and used comics and graphic novels.
