I have never been more satisfied with customer service then on 1/28/2014. My fiance and I drove to New Bedofrd from a town north of boston to pick up our little kitty when we no sooner found out he had fleas i called this petco immediately and asked if there was anything they could do. I spoke with John to store manager who appoligized to me and said they were closing up shop and it was far to cold to let the little kitten go outside wet. he said he would help me get the supplies i needed. When i arrived the manager John and Groomer Misty were standing at the door waiting for me and my 8 week old kitten and immediatly helped me. I was so overwhelmed becasue employees and customer service like this is very hard to come by. In return for being responsible and taking care of this innocent kitten they did not chare us for the flea bath becasue of how severe it was. When we left we could not have been more thankful for everything they had done for us. We still didnt have a name for our little boy and we decided the MJ was appropriate for the two people that helped us and had so much compassion and love for animals. I would definitly drive an hour and 45 min just to go back and have my cat groomed at this Petco and would recommend there services to anyone! Thank you again and little MJ is doing great!

i went to petco last night called ahead of time to find out if i can get pin head crickets and i called at 9:02 and they said if you make it here before 9:30 they can do the transaction and when i got there they was telling me i never called so if you want to purches anything from pecto your getting lied to bout everything i was a loyal custumer for over 12 years gave them a lot of busyness with all my animals now im going somewhere else and everything they have walmart has the same stuff cheaper and fish bowl and animal instinct btw petcos live insects dont live as long as the ones you get from pet lovers and better food plus cheaper

Petco definitely has a big selection, especially of pet food. They carry many varieties that are not otherwise available in this area. Why not more than 3 stars? Ive had many instances of the price at the register being much higher than what was on the shelf. Sometimes, that weeks manager does the right thing by correcting the price. Other times, they were rude about it, coming close to accusing me of making up a story. Id rather support a local business, which I do. Sometimes, Im better off with Petco. Ive learned to watch the register like a hawk now there.

Absolutely horrible....very unprofessional! They have naive unprofessional people working there especially the groomers. If something happens to your dog while grooming they have NO idea how it happened!!! Management could care less these ppl are very unprofessional, never coming here again!!!! Do NOT take your dog to Petco to get groomed ! I will be telling all my friends about all the horrible experiences Ive had here !

I always get food here because they have the brand I want. Just used their grooming service for the first time today since my dog was getting a bit ripe and I hate cleaning up the mess when I wash him inside in the cold weather... Pros: he doesn't smell any more and they did a good job brushing him out too... Cons: I'm out 37 bucks which is about what I spend for 3 months of haircuts for myself!

Love this store. Great people they helped me with my dog, cliffords allergies. I was having such a hard time with the vet. The girl told me about her 3 beagles and how the food helped her dogs and I gave it a try and I couldnt be more happier. They didnt have a full case of my dog food and they ordered me a case so I wouldnt be out and I got to pick it up a few days later. Always a pleasure.

Most of the store is fine, but NEVER buy any fish/frogs, etc from the dartmouth location. Their aquatic department is just simply gross. Not only dirty but the tanks are also dirty with seemed to be more dead fish than live ones. If you are an aquatic fan, take the extra trip to the Seekonk Petco location. Tanks are immaculate and very rarely would you see anything dead.

I never need assistance with the rest of the store but I will say the fish department always has very friendly and knowledgeable people who greatly care about the fish and always take as much time as you want answering questions. I went yesterday and spent a half hour with Steve who was very friendly and patient with all of my questions.

They are so wonderful everytime I go in. Their is a few people that remember my pets names. They always offer my dog a treat and always ask if I need help. Everyone seems so happy there and its one of my favorite store....not to mention my dogs favorite too.

Not the usual pet store. Especially, groomers Department all the employees have mastered their skills. My BabyCakes received top notch care and experience which is an important step to maintaining her good health

Waited around approximately 10 minutes for a sales associate to help me, no one was able to be found. Lack of customer service. Love the store but I think their should be multiple staff members on the floor.

Very poor service Tried to buy a parrot they denied told me needs a big cage and a UV light and not good housing for the bird. if I was someone I would not buy anything from there.

Petco give customer friendly service and very helpful with your pets. I take my dog to get her rabies shots and she gets a quick check up. Its an awesome place!
