I shop at this store all the time and its not a McDonalds drive thru. Each customer gets undivided attention when your next in line during very business times of the Day. Mike is the owner and all most always onsite and very knowlegable about everthing he sells with decades of experiance. Try and get that kind of knowledge or service at any chain pet store or even local competitors, I have not been able. I am not related to anyone at Fishbowl, and my opinion is based on 15 years of shopping local pet stores. I have been doing business with them a nearly a decade. I have tried all local area MA and RI pet stores and have not found the selection or service anywhere else hands down.

From the conditions it seems like they get their puppies from mills. Fish die soon after getting them and people are only knowledgeable about fish. I tried to purchase a ball python from them and the owner had no clue how old the snake was, what gender it was, or anything really. The animal was timid like it wasnt being handled. I have been going there on and off for the past 8 years but I will no longer be purchasing from them. Unclean and just overall bad business practices. Would not reccomennd to anyone.

Went to the fish bowl today to look at puppies, the owner was very rude and unhelpful when having any questions about the dogs or wanting to see them. He had no knowledge about the dogs not even gender and the dogs were very dirty and smelt like poop some had poop stuck to the fur and paws. I would not buy any type of animal from this place.

Best place around...fish are the best around, if your fish are dying shortly after being bought then maybe its your water condition, Ive been buying fish from them since 1995 and had just a few deaths and that was from my water condition. Great staff, very helpful.

I had a great experience there. The girl that helped me was extremely knowledgeable about fish and help me very much to get started I will be going back to purchase more fish for and only time will tell if I will continue going there I am their customer to lose

Its a great store and their pets are all well taken care of accept for one kind. Ironically, all the fish Ive bought at the fishbowl have died within a week of me buying them and they had ick (in case you dont know, ick is a disease that is deadly among fish.

Friendly and very helpful staff. They seem to only work with responsible breeders, and take very good care of their puppies. They also have birds, small animals, and they have an amazing selection of aquarium critters and supplies, both salt and fresh water.

Im upset that the whole point of this store is to provide animal care, especially for fish. Every time I have gone in there there are betta fish being abused. They are in plastic bags with not enough water and blue food coloring. It is really sad.

Sad. The kind of place you want to buy fish just to rescue them. Some really unhealthy looking animals. Store needs to be cleaned and organized. Many items with no price. For Gods sake clean your display tanks. Ive seen worse, but not many.

Most of the staff is friendly but theres just one lady employee that comes in everyday at 3 she is a little chubby and has brown hair and she is so rude! The way she comes up to you asking can I help you is literally so aggressive!

The customer service is abysmal and they speak to you like you’re below them. I’d suggest going to animal instincts down the road where they have equal knowledge of what they’re selling and treat you as a decent human being.

The dog that greets you at the door is the sweetest thing. Staff can answer any questions you have. And they have a big assortment of pets and supplies!

All the fish ive bought there except for one have died soon after ive bought them. I bought six cichlids and they died within two weeks one at a time.
