I just visited this store recently, and found it to be on par with their larger store in Brookline, just about 1/5 the size. Same prices and discount on wine (5%-25%). The staff is very well educated and very helpful, but not obtrusive. Good value wines (more than the other store). Small liquor wall, but good standards. Beer section is thorough and fresh and rotates frequently the guy working told me. If youre in the area stop in. Its down some stairs so its not the easiest to see right away. They also have Badoit Rouge mineral water! (Its hard to find in the US in case you dont know it.) Also, Best of Boston 2006 & 2007.

Ive been there so many times, because the clerks are so nice and helpful. They help you pick out the perfect wine to pair with anything, and they are so friendly. Theyve helped me out on many dinner-dates. They have a nice selection of beers too. Also, they have free beer and wine tastings weekly. If you are nearby, you should definitely check it out.

The staff was friendly (seriously, talk to them, theyre very personable), the selection was pretty good, and after visiting just a few times, they seemed to remember me! Might not be the absolute cheapest, but this is my go-to spirit shop.
