Best donuts in the area coming from a donut fan! I like how you can mix and match your favorite sweet ingredients on the cake batter. I ordered 18 donuts for a little over $20 with tax. This gives you the most value when sharing with a large party. I ordered everything from maple bacon, cinnamon sugar, chocolate with coconut nuts, strawberry w/ sprinkles, Friday donut of the day Reeses, vanilla with sprinkles, orange with coating (creamsicle), lemon with coconut, blueberry icing with coconut (fan favorite from the staff). Staff is very friendly. You can tell them your favorite flavors and theyll help you place your order. Donuts are made in front of you and the staff lets you see the final product before walking out. These donuts are well worth it at around $1.35. You get a delicious soft texture with the sweetness of the cake batter. Donuts are made fresh and havent been sitting around all day. I came during a busy after school Friday afternoon. Even with the large groups of students here I was able to order and have my donuts in under 10 minutes. These donuts are best served at home microwaved at 8 seconds with a glass of milk. They do change their menu every so often. Ill be back to try some other new flavors.

A few years back, I went to the Duck Donuts in North Carolina and thought it was great, so when I heard they were coming to Rockville, I was definitely excited. I popped over here with a few friends, unsure of what to expect, and was definitely not disappointed. The ordering form for the customized donuts was simple, yet there were many diverse options. After making your picks, just sit back and watch the employees do their thing. Fresh donuts made right in front of you, followed by the individualization of your order by adding the warm, delicious glazes and toppings **mouth waters**. The employees were all very polite as well. The final quality check step of opening the box, showing the donuts, and asking "how does this look?" forced me to take every last bit of self-control I had to not dive in right then and there. Funny how a couple donuts disappeared during the drive home.

Quick, made-to-order donuts! I was surprised that the base of the donut didnt have other options, but the glazes and toppings were delicious and completely changed the taste of each donut. My boyfriend and I wanted to order 6 donuts (with the goal of eating some but taking the rest home...but we just ate it all in one sitting, oops) so we filled out the form. Its like a matrix; you choose the glaze and topping (if any) you want on top. What I want to know is how to get multiple glazes on one! Next time I want to see if I could get a chocolate glaze with like, orange drizzled on top or something. And maybe with sprinkles.

Nice made-to-order Donut shop! Duck Donuts is about making Donuts fresh and customized to buyers. You choose the Coating (like chocolate, strawberry even maple icing!) and then possible toppings (theres BACON bits!). Youll wait a little while as is a custom made, but fresh made-to-order donuts are worth it. They offer coffee (hot /cold) among other beverages (just nothing that fancy). Prices are pretty reasonable as well. They just opened up, so looking forward to trying more donut customizations. Pleasant staff, still going through training, be gentle :)

First, I must admit, Im a donut addict. Ducks could dominate the donut industry. Id say they defecate on Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme, 7eleven, and any other donut source. Their donuts remain soft after a few days unlike Dunkin and 7eleven, they are warm and fully cooked unlike many Krispy experiences, and the batter has a unique flavor that pairs perfectly with each topping. Even their espresso drinks are up there with Starbucks and smaller name cafes considered hidden gems. I highly recommend this experience.

At first I wasnt a fan of this place as I like my doughnuts very doughy. However, after a few visits my favorite is now the maple donut with rainbow sprinkles. I have also tried the blueberry glazed and its pretty delicious. I mainly go here for their coffee (less than $2 for a medium!) which is a steal compared to other places. The rockville location gets pretty crowded but they just opened a new one in Gaithersburg and it is much more convenient for me.

I had the opportunity to have a couple of these doughnuts today! They were still warm. - Also, the crumb and texture is not heavy like cake donuts, but neither were they light like the yeast-raised doughnuts. They almost have a chewier, custard-y texture. Fabulous. The glaze on the lemon one and the maple one I had were not too heavy. (I like that.) Also, just to note, the Maple-Bacon ones were LONG GONE when I got to work. Ya snooze and you lose...

More please! Duck donuts offers the best doughnuts in the area at really competitive rates. These guys do fresh fried doughnuts. Doughnut aficionados will recognize that doughnuts are best served a few minutes out of the fryer. On top of that, they have some really neat customizable toppings that theyll add at demand. The fantastic doughnuts come really reasonably priced, which earns this place my vote for best doughnuts in the area.

Probably the best donuts that Ive had. The staff was nice. The place was very clean for the amount of people they were catering to. Had to wait 30 minutes to get my donuts. Was it worth the wait? I think so, but then again I didnt have any other plans that day. Plan for at least an hour of your time to get donuts and eat them on the weekends. I havent tried this place on the weekdays so I dont know how the wait is.

They were friendly and the donuts are made fresh with toppings of your choosing. I got a sorted dozen to share and watching the guy who made them was like a show. If he sang to it would be better than the Fudgery. And boy were they yummy. They have maple and bacon. Just check them out for yourself. Its cake donuts so if you prefer doughy ones then go to Krispy Kreme.

If you want gourmet donuts that you can create yourself then this is the place to come. There are so many varieties and choices to create from, youll have to come multiple times to create them all. Plus they make the donut fresh so it given to you warm. I cant say enough about this place. You must come and experience it for yourself!

Best donuts ever. The doughnut is basically a lighter and airier cousin of Fractured Prune. There are many varieties of doughnut topping to choose from. Its so easy to over eat because they are freshly made to order and delicious. The wait can get a little long because everything is handmade, but its well worth it.

Went here to pick up some saturday afternoon donuts. First time experience was great. Everything was made to-order and fresh. If they are rocking and rolling inside please dont be rude I can see this place turning into total disaster during peak times. IMO the coffee did not live up to the hype but thats just me.

Service was great, store was clean and donuts were freshly made. Lots of topping options. Would be nice if there were a yeast donut option, as what they serve can be described as warm cake with melted frosting or goo on top. Theyre ok, but not something Id go out of my way to get.
