I need to find another store to shop. This place will have 20 people in line and 2 cashiers. Always out of stock on items I buy. If you havent already started shopping here, do yourself a favor and dont. Ive shopped here since it first opened and it just keeps getting worse and worse for service and supply. Today was the last straw. The management at this store has been worse than terrible since Mr. Lee left. Lines are always too long and never enough cashiers. The Starbucks inside is guaranteed to be out of whatever item is needed to make your specialty drink or the single "barista" will be on break, come back late, mess up your drink. Today, the two people that were supposed to be helping to bag while the two open lines backed up halfway down the aisles, were out in the parking lot pretending to round up carts, but were really sitting down in the cart shed hiding and having a conversation. I am so done with this place. They dont care about their jobs or their customers here. Go somewhere that appreciates your business with employees that care about their jobs.

I give this store 5 stars ONLY because of their huge produce department, wide selection of produce. Its clean. Its well lit. I only buy my produce here and nothing else. Other than that I rate the store a zero. Never a quick checkout the two cashiers if youre lucky are always slow, always have an attitude or bs you about why their slow. We dont care, just fix it. If you use a chip card for your purchase the system is slow to process. Cash is faster. There seem to be a lot of employees walking around and no one opens a register. If you want lottery tickets, youre better off going somewhere else. They never have anyone at the customer service counter. And if someone does come to offer assistance finally , youre greeted with rudeness as if youre keeping them from something theyd rather be doing. It doesnt matter what time of day you go, there will always be a long wait time.

It is too bad I can not give stars for a variety of categories, because we love this Safeway. Clean, the lighting is perfect, and the prices are fantastic. For that it gets five stars. The one problem this store has is the checkout availability. I understand that there is a cost savings with the self scanners, and it comes at the expense of a potentially long wait time. On a Saturday afternoon one will typically find only three of the four self-scanners working, with one express checker and maybe a checker able to handle larger orders. In my opinion, the cost savings that are generated from the self-scanners is invalidated by the people who wont shop there due to having to wait in line at the checkstand. One star here, and for a problem that could be easily rectified.

This store needs a wakeup call. This Safeway in Parkville is terribly understaffed. Management needs to understand that this is causing bad customer service and long lines for customers. Lines are always long with only about two cashiers working at a time. I dont understand why they got rid of the self check-out registers either. There is no one to help at the floral department either. One positive thing Ill say is that this place is clean, but management needs to hire more staff instead of being cheap.

I go couple times a week.Mostly know all of the morning people by name.But the main problems is not enough lanes open.If I have a lot of stuff.I have to go in the 15 items line.I let many people go ahead of me but I cant let everyone go ahead.Everyone you stand in line will complain.Alot of them will say that they will go somewhere else if it continues.I tell them you did have a self check out but took it out for room.You will probably have a lot of room if you lose customers..

Excellent: friendly & helpfull (ONLY ONE FLAW NOT ENOUGH REGISTERS OPEN but When Jack saw the need to open another he did it himself so as to be Kind & Helpful which he always is. If hes on the floor working an a customer asks where something is hell take them to it. He goes put of his way to help people w/ disabilities, young children, elderly etc. He is kind and respectful!!!! THANK YOU JACK & I THANK WHOEVER TAUGHT HIM TO BE THE GRACIOUS MAN HE IS!!!!

Got rid of the self checkout lanes a couple months ago and now every time I go in, any time of day, any day of the week, the lines are show, backed up, and just horrible. I have to assume that whoever made the decision to get rid of those lanes was intentionally trying to have the store go out of business from losing all their customers.

The store itself is great anything you need they have. The one problem I see is never enough cashiers working and they got rid of self check out. So if run in for few items on a weekend. Your stuck for 30 minutes or more waiting at one of the two only open registers. Thats crazy on a weekend at grocery store.

Very disappointed with the Lack of Customer Service! 18 customers waiting to check out, with two Cashiers. I asked Customer Service desk if they could open another register, I received a Very Cold "in a minute" response! Each Cashier was moving like molasses with Non Friendly Attitude. I wont be back!

Long lines with limited cashiers. Have tried to use coupons there and they tell they dont except them when they should. Mgmt does not attempt to make situations right for the customer. Have been shopping there exclusively for almost 6 years but I now only go if I have to.

Not sure when or why but they got rid of the self checkout lanes. Was kind of slow check out. Only had three lanes open and did not call for backup when there were more than three people in line. Do not shop here that often so not sure if it is always like this.

The overall experence was good, however when it came to checkout there was a large struggle. they recently removed their self-checkout option leaving 8 normal lanes. The problem is there are only ever one or two lanes open with 15+ people in line.

I love Safeway because they tend to have the products that I need however this specific location is always in luck of cashiers! Theres always only two registers open which causes for major wait times!

I bought one thing & had to wait 20 minutes in line. Terrible store unless you love waiting, because only 2 registers open & line was backed up down the food iles. Always like this & is terrible.

Checkout lines are always increadibly long and slow, but staff are friendly and they have good deals for club card members. But be prepared to spend a long time at checkout
