If youre looking to save money on your grocery its worth the trip. Some may say the food is expired but the fact of the matter is quite the contrary. In most cases the products are past their shelf life at "normal" stores. Stores like Giant rotate out their products based on how fast the products sell and this rate dwindles down the closer to a products sell date. Think of it like buying milk, most people always choose the 12th over the 10th as an example. Even though that milk will almost always be consumed before its best by date. Same rule applies here, only the products are either within a week of their best by dates or a year. Example can of beans expires 18 months from purchase at Giant. Same can of beans expires in 6 months at Sharp shopper. If you are served each can of beans blind folded you wont taste a difference. Now some products are sold past their best by dates here. But they arent expired. Generally you can allow a couple weeks in this case. If something is frozen before its best by date, it will last a year frozen without losing nutrition, not much to be fair. Unless it becomes freezer burned. And last is if food you buy is bad in anyway, including you think it tastes like it went bad, bring the remainder of the food and your receipt for a full refund. But make sure you read their policy since Im not an official. Some great buys Ive found: 32ct Motts organic applesauce $4.99. best by 6 months. Perdue boneless skinless chicken breast 5ct individual $3.99 frozen 2 weeks before freeze by date. Grape-nuts original 580g cereal $1.49 best by 3 months. This is just from my last purchase.

If you are looking for good priced foods this is the place to go. Its a "discount grocery store", they offer fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits in season. Frozen foods, meats, cheeses, they also offer frozen desserts that are close to the expiration date by a few months, and are always good for last minute holiday, birthday dinners. They also have paper goods, personal products ie: soaps, shampoos, deodorants etc. All of the employees are friendly and go out of their way to help anyone. I have shopped here for 22 years and have always been treated very well. Its very busy on Saturdays, they are not open on Sundays. There are plenty of shopping carts, baskets. Some items you may not always find here due to the type of grocery store it is, they dont get the same products all the time.

This place is excellent for all sorts of packaged foods, frozen foods, and dairy! A lot of our everyday basics can be found here for much less than a normal grocery store. Specifically, look out for great prices on off brand cereal, frozen packs of chicken, individual yogurts, refrigerated juices, lunch meat, cheese, and all sorts of snack items. The one thing I would generally avoid is the produce, which is usually not much cheaper than Giant and will usually expire very quickly.

My grandson Matthew Murray applied for a job at the Belleville store and has not heard from you. He is Autistic but has his drivers license and can learn quickly. I am sure he can stock shelves and bag groceries. I hope that you do not hold it against him if he has this disability. The great secret of my budget. Doesnt have everything you need every time, because their stock fluctuates, but still perfect for stocking up on groceries. Best way to keep my grocery budget under $100 a month for two people. Save tons of money over Giant and Walmart. Favorite deal Ive found? Star Wars gummy snacks, half pound packets, 2 for $1, I bought a case. I would eat half and give the rest to coworkers.

Things here are very low priced as compared to other grocery stores. The reason why Im giving it 4 stars is some of the products they sell are expired, but in all theyre doing very good job by selling name brand things at that low. I will recommend this place to everybody.

I love this place!!! You can go shot here with a budget or no budget and leave with more food than you imagined to get with money leftover. I dont dream to shop anywhere else. Have a big family to feed? Or if its just you, sharp shoppers is great for any occasion.

Such a bright, open and inviting store at which to save money. Very busy on Saturdays--to be expected, of course--but plenty of room in the wide aisles. Our bagger was particularly friendly as we suggested the idea of all of us taking a quick afternoon nap.

Sharp Shopper in Middletown, PA has great sales. We dont buy everything here but we do save a good amount of money with what we do buy there. Just watch expiration dates as some things could be expired or about to expire. But still a very great value.

Great prices on some things, some are the same as sale prices at other stores, but some items are super cheap! Deli cheeses and meats are very good prices. If you see it, buy it! It might not be there the next time you go! Very clean and well kept!

Nice atmosphere, great prices and the customer service was amazing. Our bagger(older black male) had a very positive attitude towards the customers, he had me leaving with a smile on my face. Im hooked now and I absolutely hate grocery shopping.

Prices got a little more expensive just watch dates. Referring to soap powder you can buy cheaper at a grocery store. Customer service was a little rude this time around. But Please dont let that stop you from going.

Great value for some expired products! 1 week past expiration date for Muscle Milk at over 75% off is a deal! Certain things things like drink powders and expired bottles of water are still fine in my book.

Cheap prices! Some of the stuff is a little bit closers to the expiration date than what most would like to buy, but the price is what I go for. I can get two weeks worth of groceries for around during $100.
