If I could rate this wretched place a 0 out of 5 I would. Yesterday my phone suddenly shut off and would not turn back on. (it was never dropped or anything of the sort it just shut off and wouldnt turn back on) So i go to this T-Mobile store at 8010 Belair Rd in Nottingham to get a new phone under the warranty. The woman who helped me at this store told me that it will ship same day and I will have it by tomorrow (being today) and all i would have to do is call the store at 12pm to see if it was on site then go pick it up if it was. So today at 12pm I call the store and the same woman answers the phone and tells me my phone is at the store and I can come get it YAY!! So i take my lunch break at work drive all the way up to the store, go inside tell them who I am, they bring my phone out sit it on the counter the young guy at the counter scans it and goes this hasnt been checked in yet. The same woman from yesterday tells me just to hold on they are trying to get it checked in. Then a few minutes later she reappears from the back of the store and goes we cant check in your phone call back later tonight and you may be able to come get your phone. Im standing there dumbfounded because I called before i came up, my phone is literally on the counter of this store yet I cant leave with it?! She then gets a text message that says i cant get my phone until tomorrow because the manager isnt coming back in today. Hold up so I called prior to my visit, am told that i can get my phone so I show up and because the manager didnt do her job before she left I cant get my phone?! Now normally this wouldnt be too big of a deal right? Well let me add some perspective I am a single parent to a young child, I am now day 2 without a phone so if god forbid something were to happen to either myself or my child i have no way to get a hold of anyone. So i contacted corporate who werent really any help either because Im being told the same thing again. I was offered to come back to the store for the second time today and get a loaner phone but i would have to pay to borrow the loaner phone?! This company used to be great and I have referred a lot of people to T-Mobile over the years that I have been a customer but after this whole event I am switching to a different carrier!!!

I go to this freestanding location because its easy to get to with plenty of parking available. T-Mobile has absolutely the best wireless service available at the best price right now here in Baltimore City and you dont have to worry about commiting 2 years of your life if things go sour. Plus you can really tell the difference dealing with a company that is truly hungry for your business. I walk in and immediately taken care of by the staff. They even went through the trouble of showing me a service map around my area to make sure I would have good service before I signed up. Super friendly and Im in and out with what I need. Compare this with my experiences going to the Verizon store at The Avenue. You walk into a crowded store, sign up with your name at the front kiosk and WAIT. All the while some guy working off sales commission tries to sell you Verizon FiOS service to your home which youve told him three times youre not interested in. But he goes through the whole speech anyways. Then when you finally get your turn in line the employees act like they just want you to hurry up and leave. No answers to questions I have, just blank stares. Very uneducated staff. When I came in to renew my employer discount they gave me all kind of run around that I had the wrong pay stubs etc. Called later and the manager apologized but said I would have to come back AGAIN with the same papers. Thats what irritated me and kinda killed Verizon for me. Heard about the no contract plans with T-Mobile and decided to check it out. Come to find that they have a much better selection of devices (they carry Googles latest Nexus 4 :) )and even let me activate the Nexus 4 I bought from the Google Play store. Even switching my phone number over from Verizon took about 5 minutes. Best thing yet is that Im saving almost $40 a month on the simple unlimited plan compared to the ridiculous bill I paid with Verizon. The savings alone will eventually pay for the Nexus handset I bought. Wish I would have switched to T-Mobile sooner.

After having visited other T-Mobile Stores in the area, JB and his team of Magenta wearing employees have customer service nailed down to a science. When you walk in you are not ignored, and they listen to your concern. Unlike other places that you feel are designed to train employees, this location will work with you politely and pleasantly to ensure your mobile communication needs are met.

Always love this location. Very fast and know what they are doing. Ive had many mistakes made on my account at the Harford Mall location. Not here, they have always been great and Ive been a tmobile customer for over 5 years and have made plenty trips to stores in Baltimore and Harford counties

We waited for about an hour to be helped on a Saturday. When we first went in there was only one person working and two others were on break. After we were called the associate was very helpful and managed to get us out quickly with solving our issue.

Good service... once you finally get service. Ive waited here multiple times 45+ minutes for simple service. Its not the staffs fault, but management should take into account traffic levels and staff more accordingly.
