Walgreens has truly lost their way. Theyve established themselves as a real estate holding company, not a healthcare company. Closed on the Fourth of July!! Every grocery store, discount store, gas station, fast food joint, etc. is open. But a place where people can get urgently needed medicine, no. I can just imagine the corporate response to this if any. "We want to give our associates time with their families", or somesuch nonsense. Oh, I forgot — I could make about a three hour round-trip drive to a Walgreens that is open today in another part of the state — with a fever of 102.5°.

Went in to refill a Rx and the pharmacist was a really cool guy. I told him what I needed and was waiting for him to tell me how long it would be, he turned around and said the cost and had the Rx in his hand. I couldnt believe how fast I got the Rx. I was literally in and out of the store with my Rx in hand in less than 5 minutes. Awesome service from the pharmacy!
