My 30 year old Seiko watch needed a battery, a routine procedure that has never been an issue before. I moved here from out of state not too long ago and poked around on the web for a repair shop. I found this on the Daviko website: "$4.99 Watch Battery, One Battery per customer. Most Watches. Mention offer on website" So I went in today, and was told "if we have the battery it will be $15". I mentioned the offer on the website, and the response was that was only for watches that didnt need special tools or attention. I told him to proceed and watched while he used a standard watch opener spanner. He grunted and cursed and complained about how hard it was to open, asking me "who put this back on?". In the end he removed the back and replaced the battery in less than 5 minutes. I paid the $15 but will never return to this shop. The service was unfriendly, unpleasant, and inconsistent with the message protrayed on their website.

Come on now. I am so glad I didnt listen to the reviews. This guy is great; put a battery in my Joe Rodeo and Im a happy customer. He didnt appear to be rude; to me he was honest and to the point. When I arrived there was someone before me then two came after. I observed his customer service and knowledge... really impressive. Come judge for yourself. I was surprised he took the initiative to show me how to work my watch. I really like him and I Will come again!

I wish that I could leave less than 1 star. I brought in 5 estate rings to sell a few weeks ago. David offered me $185 for the group. As they were all gold and the amount seemed very low, I took them to another shop and they gave me $800 for them! I sold a few pieces at Davidoff before and the owner seemed trust-worthy, and now Im wondering how much I lost on those. If youre selling, take yourself somewhere else.

Nice guy. I collect antique rings, but I have unusually small fingers so they always have to be sized. I take them to Daviko. He is reasonably priced and does good work. Also, if a setting looks too fragile to size, he will advise against it. Very honest in my experience.
