I have tried to write this rating multiple times, and I can not seem to find the words to express how amazing the experience was with TLC Bridal. TLC was the first shop I had visited in the course of finding "the perfect dress". Out of the three shops I had visited, TLC was the first and last stop. The staff is extremely accommodating, which believe it or not, is very hard to find. Sue is wonderful. She knows exactly what dress to put you in even if you are having difficulty describing what you want. She actually LISTENED to what I had wanted. She pulled all different dresses and did not limit me once as to how many. I never once felt uncomfortable. The boutique is very cozy and intimate. You are able to go back in the fitting area and then actually present yourself to everyone waiting in the main area. After visiting the other two shops, I just had to go back to TLC. Unfortunately, the sample had been sold that I thought was "the one". Sue told me not to worry, that we will find the one. After I had described a little as to what I wanted, she pulled THE gown for me. It was the first dress I had tried on that day. I would have never thought about it, but Sue knew me better than I knew what I wanted. They have absolutely every style you could imagine, and the designer selection is great as well. I can not say enough how wonderful TLC is. Sue, Terry, and the rest of the girls are so kind. I can not wait to continue with the fittings and accessorizing with them. It is a relaxing experience, and I plan on telling all of my bridesmaids to look into getting their dresses with them.

I cannot rave enough about how great TLC Bridal Boutique is and how great Terry was. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, this is the place to go. Even though the place is small, they have a surprising selection of dresses- all beautifully exquisite. When you first arrive, Terry is very intent on listening to your wants and needs in picking the perfect dress. I actually ended up going with a dress totally unlike what I was planning because Terry had happened to pick it out and thought itd be a good one just to try on- for the heck of it. She was not pushy at all, yet she seemed to know just what you were looking for. She made it not feel like its something she does multiple times a day, but a truly unique experience just for you! You can tell the staff has a lot of experience in Bridal sales- they gave great, helpful advice.The most important thing was that there was no push to find the right dress. She gave us plenty of time and didnt make us feel like we needed to rush in any way. She, along with the other staff were very patient and did their best to make my many guests comfortable while they were there. The prices are reasonable and they have several other accessories that match perfectly. I ended up getting my veil and earrings there too- they matched perfectly with my dress. I highly recommend this place- the dresses are beautiful and the people there make you feel truly unique in every way.

Overall I had a positive experience with TLC Bridal. Their new location (second level shop) is very nicely decorated and centrally located in Downtown Frederick. Unfortunately, I went into this appointment already having found a unique wedding dress I really liked (and ended up buying), so the consultants at TLC has a hard time finding a dress I liked more than the one I had already found. Nevertheless, my consultant, Suzy, did everything she could to help me find a dress from TLC, and even brought in her coworker and the owner when she had run out of ideas. I could tell they really just wanted me to find a dress that I liked (so much so that they hinted I should run back and get the other dress!). They were very nice and catering the whole appointment, respected my budget, and listened to what style I was looking for. The reason why I gave four stars instead of five was because I sat in the lobby for 30min before anyone realized I was there (granted, they had just moved into this location and things were a bit hectic...no excuse for 30min though) and that each of the fitting rooms had windows with see-through lacy curtains (I felt as though people could see right up into the fitting room). Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend checking out TLC Bridal for wedding dresses.

I feel SO blessed that I came across TLC Bridal! First of all, the store is beautiful, spotless and very inviting. The staff could not be any more professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They sit down with you to get to know you, listen carefully to what your dream dress would look like and then talk about what your budget is. Next thing I knew, they brought me over 6-8 dresses. I didnt have to look through all the dresses myself- they knew what I was looking for! As soon as I saw the first dress they brought over, I knew it was the one!!! I tried it on and my Mom was speechless and was crying. It was one of my favorite moments in my life! They then helped me accessorize it- and honestly, I was not expecting to walk out of there with not only my dream wedding dress, but also a veil, earring, bracelet and other accessories- all withing my budget! They also had me try on a few other dresses to make sure that I did indeed find my dream dress. How awesome is that!? My advice to all the brides out there- dont look any further, just give TLC Bridal a shot, because even if you wont find a dress there, you will leave with a fantastic experience!

I went to TLC to try on "the dress" in the right color (when I originally found it at another store it was in ivory). Though I only had a 1 hour appointment and they were quite busy, the entire staff was more than accommodating and allowed me to try on a few other dresses that I saw just to be sure. Once I had decided on my dress, there was zero pressure to purchase it. I actually left (because I didnt plan on getting married until next year) and when I called in a panic because we moved our date up by 1 year they got me right in for a measurements. I again requested that I try on the dress just to be 100% sure (Im terrible with huge decisions) and they were again very patient and did everything they could to make me comfortable and confident in my decision. All in all Id definitely recommend at least going to try on dresses if for no other reason than to have a pleasant experience. The staff is wonderful (though my consultant on ordering/measuring day was a little careless) and do everything they can to make sure youre sure of your decision.

I didnt end up buying my dress here either, but these ladies are awesome! Great selection for a little boutique, even had more than the typical size 8, 12 and 18 sizes, and you can buy some of the sample dresses off the rack. I am on a tight budget and wanted something a bit non-traditional and they were so willing to work with me. They didnt pay less attention to me even though they knew if I bought from them I wouldnt be a high-end sale, like some places have. I thought my visit was going to prove awkward because there was an engaged couple in there and the man was watching his bride try on dresses, and since the fitting rooms are all in one area, she politely asked the man to wait in another part of the store to ensure my privacy. Didnt even have to ask her to. If you are in the area, definitely give this place a visit! These women know what they are doing and will treat you right.
