Previously I had spoken to an associate who was going to give me a "deal" on an opal pendant. I went back to puchase the pendant and another associate would help me with this "deal." Associate #2 looked up the pendant on line and got a sales price of $115 but that she would take it down to $99.99 that would include a warranty on the piece. Never asked me if I wanted the warranty. (This is where the sales jargon starts.) She rings up the item and comes back to me asking for $129+. I say, "What happened to the $99.99 deal, (+ 6% sales tax, of course.) = $105.98, even $115 + tax doesnt equal the amount she was charging me. At that point two other associates came to the womans rescue to try and convince me of what a bargain I was getting for that price. So in a sense they where charging me $115, plus adding on a warranty for 14.99 that I would have decline if asked straight up. I stood my ground and was asked, "What price would make me happy?" Kind of a silly question at that point. They ended up honoring the $99+price w/tax and "throwing in" the warranty. When inspecting the paper work they made it look like I paid $85 plus $14.99 for the warranty. I guess I am crazy for thinking that the unethical practice of fast talking sales people was long gone but you can be assured that it is an alive and well at the Reeds Jewelers at the FSK mall in Frederick, MD. As they say, "Buyer beware!"

Zero customer service, my children bought me a gift there and when i wanted to return it (I had the exact item already) they would not allow me to return it when my daughter paid cash for all but 1.43 of the item. I had to come with the debit card for the return or they could have home office send my the refund in the mail. I wanted and had my child return it. Like children do they did it in their own time. AFTER the 10 day return policy. Guess what store credit only. I WILL NEVER BUY anything from REEDS again.

Worst customer service ever!!!!! All was great until I got my wedding band back from being sized and they ruined the diamonds. They were actually sunken in and partially covered by metal and a few stones didnt even have all prong on them. I went back to have them fix it and was told that I needed to have a insurance plan to fix it. REALLY? Your jeweler botched my ring and youre telling me I need to have insurance on it to fix it? Corporate has not returned my calls.

I had one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences at this store! The service was outstanding and the knowledge exceptional. Cara helped me choose the perfect item without pressuring me or giving sales pitches. She listened to what I wanted. The manager was fantastic too! It was a great pleasure to be helped there after having had my jewelry stolen by contractors at my home. What a great place! I will shop there again!

Bought a pair of earrings here for my sisters birthday. They didnt have the exact style I was looking for but they price matched a pair I found at competitors store. The sales person that helped me was very friendly and offered to clean my rings for free. Overall, a good experience.
