First of, Marcus helped me and he was very nice. That is where the good stuff ends. Unfortunately, I cannot tell the full story as Google and character limits. One star given only because it is required. On February 26,2017, I bought the Bella dining room table at Price Busters Discount Furniture in Forestville, MD for $500. We put the whole table together only to find out the the glass insert from the middle of the table doesnt fit. It was too big. Im thinking, ALL SALES FINAL... What have I done? I call the Forestville store and they tell me to call customer service. This is where it all goes downhill. Over 100 PHONE CALLS, about 5 of which were actually answered, to customer service and FIVE trips to the WAREHOUSE, I have a piece of glass that fits my now jacked up table. Why is it jacked up? Because after attempting to replace only the glass twice, they told me to bring the table back to the warehouse to exchange it. The new table was also damaged so they said I could just take the new glass and have my old PERFECT table back. Problem is while they had the table for all of five minutes, they scratched it up and ruined it by dragging it across the concrete. I didnt notice it until I got home. Now, they wont fix it because they say the new (BROKEN) table that I refused counted as an exchange. Except, you know, I went home with my original table. I wrote and VERY LONG, VERY DETAILED post on Facebook that I will share as many times as I can. Bottom line. Google needs to release the character limit so I can tell the full story. This company has only one interest; and that is to take your money. If you are unfortunate enough to shop here, please do the following: 1. Note the name of ANYONE that you come in contact with. Expect them to be nice to you - this is a trick. Do not fall for it. You have been warned. 2. Read the ENTIRE carbon copy receipt BEFORE you sign ANYTHING. In fact, I would ask to see the agreement before hand because you only get the carbon copy once your card has been swiped. 3. When you go to the loading dock, be prepared to wait....... a very long time. and when your furniture comes out, open EVERY SINGLE BOX, make sure EVERY piece fits, I dont care if its a screw. 4. Be prepared to call, literally, a MILLION times before anyone answers your phone calls. They will tell you that someone will call you back but they wont. They will tell you to send an email, but they wont return it. 5. DO NOT throw the box and wrapping away. If you have to bring something back to the warehouse, they will blame you for any damage because your item was not properly wrapped. When you leave the loading dock, whatever happened to your item, will be YOUR FAULT. 6. Dont expect anyone to give a damn about you, you time, your efforts, your money....... Oh wait, thats the only thing they care about. 7. If you find yourself wandering into an outlet store called Pricebusters, turn around immediately and leave. Do not pass go, and forget collecting $200.... DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8. DO................... NOT.............. SHOP................ HERE.............. 9. Im reporting you to the BBB. I will share and post this story WHEREVER AND WHENEVER I CAN! UPDATE 4/23/2017: I received a call from a manager after posting my reviews. He was very nice and made an attempt to replace my table again. As the 2nd replacement table was also damaged, he just gave me my money back. The manager was great and I wish I would have been in contact with him sooner. This experience was terrible and even with my refund, I will not be returning.

My dad is a 70 year old Veteran and he purchased furniture and had it delivered to his house from this place. Price Busters has a policy that states you have to check out your furniture before you sign after delivery. Because he is a senior citizen he does not see well and he is physically unable to lift the furniture to inspect the bottom. Once his brother in law arrived in town and was able to lift the couch after my dad had already called and spoke to the customer service manager Keyshia Jones about to worn spots his wife noticed the day of the delivery once she arrived home . Ms Jones assured my dad that she would get back to him in reference to that matter which she NEVER did, his brother in law flipped the couch over and there was visible duck tape, staples, and a piece of broken wood!!! This site wont allow me to post pictures but the condition of the furniture is completely unacceptable! I understand policies are in place for a reason but there is not a consumer out here who would purchase furniture and damage it in this manner especially since they have to pay for it for the next 12 months since it was financed. This just doesnt make sense. I am trying to warn future consumers about this place before they are absolutely ripped off like my dad was!!

*UPDATE! If you pay for a separate subcontractor to put your pieces together. Call the day of to make sure the appropriate paper work has went through and the right contractors come out to put together the items and not just drop off. Corey is another manager and clearly he half does his job while taking your cash and putting it in his pocket. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHEAP PLACE!! Ive just had the worst encounter with the manager Pacey(white Jewish man)! His customer service was AWFUL, and then he blames it on "having a bad day!" We all have bad days, but for you to take it out on a paying customer is quite unbelieveable. He ruined a perfectly good sale all because we inquired about delivery for them to put the furniture together! PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS PRICE BUSTER!!!!!!!! If you know whats best this is not the place!! Horrible experience. P. S. They have 4.7 out of reviews 5 starts because their brive their customer and they reduce the delivery fee!

I first visited price busters not knowing what I was going to purchase, all I knew was that I was moving and needed furniture for my whole house... I walked in the door and immediately Terry greated me with a smile n asked how he could help. I advised him that I didnt know what I was looking for and he told me to look around n let him know when I c something I liked... I ended up picking out several different pieces.. he then helped me pick out everything else he walked me through THE ENTIRE STORE and took his time with me being VERY INDECISIVE.. he never rushed me n it seem like he wasnt just doing his job but he loved what he was doing.. I want to thank price busters and Terry for my brand new furniture and Im very excited to receive it.. if u guys go to price busters please ask for Terry hes AWESOME...

As a young professional transitioning into a new city (Wash Metro) searching for apartment furniture at a reasonable price was difficult. However, a relative referred me to Price Busters. Soon as I walked in an associate, Terry, greeted me and offered his assistance if I needed it. I wasnt pressured, or watched like a hawk, to make a purchase. When I did have questions Terry was available immediately. His advice regarding my needs never hinted at what would be best for him (commission maybe?) but his focus was on making sure that I got what I needed in my budget to transition into my new city comfortably without breaking the bank. Though I havent made a purchase (still living on college furniture) the service alone is enough to make me revisit Terry and the Price Busters team. Thanks guys!
