I purchased a kindle HD from here. After almost a week I decided to exchange for the nexus 7. I looked at the staples website and saw that the nexus 7 32GB was in stock for pretty much all of the stores in my area. I called this location to make sure the item was actually in stock. I was placed on hold and the sales person told me they did have them in stock and that they had just got a shipment in that same morning and had quite a few. I hung up with her. I then called back 10 mins later and the same person answered, I just wanted to mention that I would be returning the kindle to make sure there wouldnt be any problems. I also mentioned the nexus to her again and she explained that she had acutally saw them and ensured me that if I came around 3 pm that day I should be able to get one. I was looking a little further on the staples website and noticed that I could reserve the nexus and so I did. I also reserved it at another location (Largo) insticts told me so. I received confirmation from both locations of my reserved item. But to my surprise when I got to the greenbelt location I was told by the "manager" that they did not have any in stock and that the nexus that I reserved was defective??? He explained that the website has no real connection with the merchandise in the store to recongnize if an item is defective or not. It just sees that there is one in the store. I mentioned that I had spoken with someone earlier that day and they told me that they received a shipment in. I was told by the "manager" that they had not received any shipments in and that it was around the holidays so the item is pretty much sold out everywhere. I couldnt believe that I was just told a "lie" earlier that day. I asked the manager to look up the Largo location to see if they had any (which would include my reserved item) He told me that he only saw in their system that there were 2 at the Largo location, 1 was the display and the other was defective also, huh??? He then said the closest staples that had the item would be Arundel Mills and he called to confirm they had the item. So I was on my way to Arundel Mills and had an urge to call the Largo store. Lo and behold the manager of that store told me that they in fact had my reserved item and that it was indeed not defective. Needless to say I will never shop at this location again.

Store Manager Kia is AWESOME!! I had a problem filling out the rebate of $20 online after buying $400 Visa Gift Cards in Staples according to the Ads, so I visited the College Park Store located in 8904 62nd Ave, College Park, MD 20740 yesterday. The store manager Kia was so nice to help me resolve the issue and contacted the rebate department directly and get my rebate submitted and approved right away. The call last 45 mins..... and she was so kind to help in between tons of things before the store is closed at 9pm.... And later she found that I actually bought the gift cards in another Staples store.... not her store. She still help with GREAT smiles on her face!!! Highly recommended!!! Kia, just like the Auto brand, KIA! Thumbs up!!

Two copy machines down.. now only one left. They could have xeroxed me out of there soooooo quickly. Now, I dont want to go back. REMEMBER: Business is all about "customer service". So many are closing. Now I wish I had gone to the manager. I may witness another closing like the last store I noticed consistant rudeness to customers. It CLOSED.

Save yourself the frustration and headache. The printing staff appear to have trained for this job as though it is a hobby and not an actual job. Customer service are not the words to describe an experience with the staff. The printing staff are interacting with the public like stereotypes from a low budget movie. This is absolutely ridiculous.

This is the most poorly run Staples in the Washington Metro area. There is never a sales person around to assist, and if you are lucky enough to find one, and they actually know where what you are looking for can be found, they may be co-opted by other shoppers looking for help, in which case you will be left in the aisle, alone.

Terrible service at the print and copy center. Wait time is ridiculous even though 2 employees were there doing practically nothing, I was told it would take a while to scan one page while I noticed that none of the machines were in use. Stay away at all costs.

The employees I encountered were exceptionally helpful. Unfortunately they were out of stock on the item I needed. Even there nearby stores did not have it in stock so I had to go to a competitor where the item was$10 cheaper.

Try to use the self service to make a few copies. They did not accept cash.Ughh. The clerk did make a few copies after the manager said he would have to charge me extra. Smh..I wont be back n I wont recommend others to go. ..

Called to ask a simple question about a custom stamp. Was placed on hold 3 times and then curtly told no by a "sales" person. Customer service is clearly still a problem at this store.
