I went there for the first time last Thursday. I was actually looking for a coin exchange somewhere in Alexandria because I had to be there later that afternoon but I personally live in Clinton. Fortunately the yellowpages search also posted things nearest to my zip code so when I saw something that was literally right around the corner from my house I was very happy. I had never even heard of them before. And it turns out they have only been open for maybe a month or so which explains why I never heard of them. I often go to Gaithersburg to get top dollar for gold and silver but its so out of the way!!! Its annoying and gas/metro fees cost more than Id like which technically outweighs any loss Id suffer from what Mohamed and Sons Jewelers offered me for my silver. In general I refuse to do business with coin stores who refuse to pay me at least 90% of spot price. Ive been to places in DC where they give me some lame excuse why theyre only going to give me 75% of spot price and thats crap! Now dont get me wrong when I go to Gaithersburg I get 100% of spot but sometimes I find myself waiting an hour just go get my money! Time is money and I dont want to waste my time. Ill settle for a 5% loss while preserving an hour of my time, not to mention the 2 hours getting to and from Gaithersburg. Mohamed and Sons is MOST WELCOME to Clinton and Im glad theres a place up the street from my house where I can get TOP DOLLAR for my gold and silver. I plan on doing much much repeat business with them. I called and spoke to one of the Employees there his name was Nassir. He was very friendly and made sure that he was willing to match to the best of his ability what Gaithersburg would have paid me, while also considering the expense Id incur for transportation. I highly reccomend Mohamd and Sons Jewelers!

My lobster claw broke on my bracelet and I was looking for places to repair it. Went to the mall and the guy said $150 and I was like yeah... na and left. I googled something around the area I figured there had to be some local shop that would do it for cheaper. Boy was I glad I found this place. I called beforehand to see if they did the repair service I needed and the guy who I can only assume is the owner pleasantly answered and said sure of course just come in and well take care if you. I went in and $25 dollars later I was repaired and on my way. The entire time I was waiting he was extremely pleasant with me and other customers who all seemed equally as satisfied as myself.

I walked into the Mohamed and Sons on morning after they were recommended to me to repair linkage in my favorite watch. I was immediately welcomed by Mr. Mohamed who was exceptionally polite, cordial, and professional. The store itself was immaculate and the cases presented beautiful jewelry. One of Mr. Mohameds son repaired my watch band as I wanted and conversed with Mr. Mohamed about several subjects. The repair was done promptly and at an exceptionally good price. Furthermore, I have not had any other problems with the band after the repair! I am going back to Mr. Mohamed first for any of my future watch and jewelry demands as I highly recommend him and his store.

WOW!! These guys are head and shoulders over the competition. I went to Kay jewelry to get my wife an engagement ring and I was quoted at $8,649. I was then referred to Mohamed and sons by a friend who told me to give them a shot. At first I was scepticale but once I went in they were so kind and friendly. All of them were so humble and really treated me like family. After it was all said and done I bought the same exact ring for literally half the price that was first offered to me at Kays. highly recommend place to go from major to minor jewelry needs

Love this store they make you feel like you are part of the family. Ive been dealing with Mohamed and Omar for 10 years. They are honest people. I love their work they do the best repair at the best price. Recently took my mom to sell her gold in Virginia thinking they pay good, I was shocked by the price i was quoted in VA. I ran to Mohamed where he explained weight, pricing and testing was able to get $1200 more than the previous quote. THANKS MOHAMED AND SONS!!!!!

Spoke to an employee about selling my gold and diamonds. He told me to go to a couple of jewelry stores before going to him to know what I had. He gave me DOUBLE THE $$$$$$ I WAS OFFERED AT THE OTHER SHOPS. I sold him 2 diamond rings and a lot of broken gold. These guys are really friendly and make you feel at home.
