We were given some incorrect information about an item and it had to be returned. At first they tried to charge me a restocking fee, which I wouldve gladly paid had it been my fault for the return. However this was not the case. After some phone calls this fee was waived. Well over a month later and several phone calls with the manager, I still have not received my refund. They claim that its already been processed but its utterly inexcusable to keep a four figure charge on someones credit card for over a month for seemingly no reason. I called Chase to dispute the charge, and this seems like the only way I will get my refund. Most customers do not have time to waste on multiple nonconstructive phone calls to be put on hold and then placated by a manager that seemingly doesnt know how to process a simple return. Only reason I am giving this store more than 1 star is because the in-store experience was great, and the employees were very friendly, and accommodating. Its a shame their efforts were sullied by this incompetence from the back office, because this experience made me not want to shop here again.

There is no doubt that the style and quality is very nice. However, the prices are very high and so I expect excellent style and quality at that pricepoint. The problem is the customer service. I bought 2 chairs for $3500 which is more than I would normally spend. I made the purchase in July 2016 and they were just delivered 9 months later! It has been a nightmare. It took 4 months for delivery (vs the 8-12 week commitment) and the fabric was wrong. It took 3 weeks for Arhaus to agree to the mistake and make it right. I worked with sales people, the store manager, and "concierge service" via many emails and phone calls. Finally I got agreement in writing to fix the error which they made. I received no apology, no compensation. I asked to be put at the front of the line to produce the correct chairs - I was told they would make the request. The delivery of the correct chairs came 4 months later! I am beyond disappointed. 9 months to receive 2 chairs is just not acceptable. While I like the chairs, the terrible experience overshadows the product itself.

Love the furniture here. We bought a very nice chair that was an excellent purchase and looks great. However, we were told it would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. 7 weeks later we called to check up on the order and were told that all chairs are 8-12 weeks for delivery and ours would take 12 or more to be delivered. I feel we were lied to by the sales person in order to close the deal. We told her that delivery time was important for us and she told us what we wanted to hear and not the actual facts. Great furniture but dishonest customer service. Another time I bought a mirror that I love. It arrived in the store late and no one helped me load it to my car. In that case it seemed that after the sale I did not matter. So that is 2 experience where I was treated great pre-sale and poorly post-sale.

Nice looking furniture. Questionable quality. Poor customer service. A close friend purchased a very expensive sofa from here which broke in less than a year after purchase. When I looked closely I saw that the wooden frame had cracked where there was a knot in the wood. Customer service including management were very adamant that they could send out the repair tech at our cost but it would likely not be covered by any warranty and we would be responsible for additional repair charges. Would not shop here or recommend. There are plenty of stores to choose from.

This store "seems" like a very nice place to get very nice furniture. The products are OK quality, but not worth the hefty prices and when something goes wrong the customer service is horrid. We purchased multiple items, and when a wooden chair cracked under very light use, we called about service. The store and the corporate office both took NO responsibility for the flawed craftsmanship and did not help with repair. They got a few credit card charges from us and seem happy with their profits, which is clearly all they care about.

We recently bought a desk from Arhaus - we were told it was an original piece from India. After looking at the website following our purchase and bringing the item home - we find that it is "inspired by authentic antiques handcrafted in traditional Chinese styles" and not an original at all. No doubt, we paid more for this item because we thought was an original antique. Do not trust the sales people here. We would return but, the restocking fee is ridiculous. This experience is infuriating.

I absolutely love the furniture there but the customer service is horrible especially taking into consideration thats it is not the cheapest store. We bought furniture there three times and every experience was worse than the other: incompetent staff, "delivery" with no furniture on the truck etc. In addition, our furniture was sold twice to another customer and we found out that when we were ready to pick it up! I will never come back to Arhaus again!

They were really friendly and honest when helping us look at rugs, including directing us to store samples on major sale, talking through where wed want it and considering how easy they would be to clean with small children messes. We didnt end up finding anything that would work but were really grateful for their forthright and honest approach. Some beautiful furniture, on the expensive end but many pieces Id be thrilled to have.
