The furniture we bought is beautiful and the salesman who worked with us on the day we bought it was good. However every other aspect of our experience with Ashley furniture has been awful. They told us our furniture would be delivered within "3-8 weeks but it shouldnt take longer than a month." They told us they would call us on June 10th to schedule a delivery. They didnt, so we called them and they said theyd call us on the 18th to schedule a delivery. Again they didnt, so we called and they said they would call on the 26. Again they didnt so we called and they said everything was in stock except 2 pieces and they should be in stock the next day. We called the next day and they still werent in stock and they said the furniture should be in on July 5th so we called on July 5th and they scheduled the delivery for later that week. This was about 6 or 7 weeks after we ordered everything. They called us the day before and gave us the time 12-4. They called us the day of, and said they damaged part of our couch and they would be delivering everything except a part of our couch. They came at 3:00 which I thought was pretty late for them to come considering we blocked out these 4 hours of our time to wait for them. We called and asked about the missing piece and they said it was in stock and ready for delivery this week - about 2 and a half weeks after all of our other furniture was delivered. The time they gave us was again 12-4 and we waited until 4 and no one had arrived so we called and asked where they were and we were told they were 15 minutes away. We were called again 5 minutes later to say that they were still finishing up the last delivery so they should be there around 4:30 no later than 5. Then when the delivery guys were here, I asked if I could put some anti scratch foot things on the bottom of the couch before he put it together and he said "yeah but do it quickly because I have more deliveries" which I thought was pretty rude considering they were the ones who were 35 minutes late after we had already waited for 4 hours for them. On top of this we spent almost 10 grand on furniture there during the memorial day sale and they were giving away $100 Omaha steaks gift cards for any purchase over $1000 so you would think we would have at least gotten one of those and we didnt. Id like to say that the beauty of our furniture was worth the struggle but there were so many downsides to it that I probably will not be purchasing anything else from this store especially if it requires delivery.

There are so many issues that I have with this store. Customer service is poor. Delivered items without screws and legs andItems that I didnt order. I am very displeased with my service at Ashley Furniture. Several months, I brought 2 beds with storage- 1twin and 1full, along with a media center, dreser, and mirror. Today, when the items were delivered the twin bed did not have storage and the full bed was delivered witout legs and screws. Both were unable to be utilized in its current state. So I contacted the store immediately. They In turned told me to call to the corporate office. Who told me I needed to speak to the store because they put my order in wrong. I spoke to the manager who stated that she could not verify the order because the salesman is no longer with the store. She informed me that she would call me in an hour. Which never happened. When I called back I was informed that she was busy and would call me later. I asked to speak to another manager and was informed that I could only speak to the one I spoke to previously. So I contacted corporate again regarding a resolution, at that time I was informed that it would take 5 to 7 days to resolve the bedding for the full size bed. They needed to order the screws and legs. However,there was no resolution for the other bed, as that can only be resolved at the store. When asked about a full refund I was informed that thr store would charge me 30 % for there errors. While my kids go without appropriate bedding. This is still unresolved. I went to the store and they are charging me additional money to correct the issue. The customer service is poor. The sales representatives eat and play on cell phones. The store manager was too busy with her kids at work to offer any assistance. I have requested assistance with this issue. I really dont think I should be charged a restocking fee for the stores mistake. I would like a full refund and they can come and retrieve the furniture pieces. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. STEER CLEAR OF THIS STORE. This store has the worst customer service. No one has an email address( at least per the customer service reps). The customer service reps are not helpful at all. All they do is continue to make up timeframes that your furniture will be available only to push it back. My delivery timeframe was pushed back three (3) times. Every time I call the store to speak to the manager (Josh) he is never available to discuss them failing to deliver my furniture. He is a phantom manager (never available). The assistant manager Marlene is incompetent and pretends as if she can be of assistance but isnt. I purchased furniture two (2) months ago and keep getting the run around concerning my delivery date. They informed me that due to my wait they would issue a partial refund. They never did that. So here I am two months later I called again stating if they could not provide a delivery date to just return my money. They are now saying I have to drive all of the way back to the store in order for them to refund my money. I will NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture again. This is my first home and first time purchasing real furniture for a home. This store has made what should be an exciting experience a terrible one. I informed my entire network (young adults who are moving and looking for affordable furniture options) to steer clear of this store. The only reason I gave this review one star is because there is not an option for 0 stars

I dont understand how they expect to run a business.We just moved to the area and needed furniture to fill our living room. We went to this store and purchased a living room set. The person checking us out told us it would be 2-6 weeks so we started to hesitate because we didnt want to keep the first room you walk into in our new place to be empty that long. They told us it would probably be 3 weeks, they only say 6 weeks to "cover their butts". That was 6 weeks ago. One piece of furniture isnt even done being made. When I called to see if they could just deliver the stuff they already had, the soonest they could is in 2 more weeks. Not only that but we have to be there all day for delivery. Most couples work all day, how do they expect us to have someone home all day?? When I tried to talk to a manager about this, they were always too busy. Apparently I am not the only dissatisfied with the service. Please save yourself the frustration and go to Bobs Discount Furniture, La-Z Boy, or anywhere else. We had friends and family who bought from the before mentioned stores and had their furniture delivered in a week. It cant be that hard to hire more contractors before you begin to lose all of this business. Dont be fooled by the sales they have during holidays. It makes their prices competitive with other prices weve seen on any other given day at other places. Not worth it to pay the same amount for awful service.
