If you want the best authentic comic book store experience, this is where you go. It’s the best one I’ve ever been to. Super-friendly, casual, and filled with the nostalgia of when comic book stores first started. The owner Billy does a fantastic job all around. Get great comic book recommendations to specifically suit your interests. There are so many great stories in comics books right now, and Billy has the latest and best graphic novels and single issues. There’s so many great collected stories from years past that you will not find at barnes and noble or other book stores. And, there’s a wealth of great and hard-to-find merchandise other than just comic books: from action figures, T-shirts, posters, playing cards, and toys. It doesn’t hurt they have the perfect location in historic downtown Annapolis! Buy your comics and then pop-in a coffee shop or head down to the dock during warm weather to read them.

I came across this shop while enjoying a day downtown and I must say, Im impressed. Its one of the nicest shops Ive been in and the guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also had a huge selection of books, especially graphic novels. Ill definitely be making the trip back. Worth coming downtown for this shop alone.

Im from Worcester, MA and once here I found Capital Comics, could find comics thats close to my house. I am a regular and you can ask Billy, these guys are very helpful in finding what you want. If they dont have it they can order it in for you. Capital Comics is awesome and the service is great. So if your into comics I suggest you go there.

if youre a collector you need to check out capitol comics. the staff of billy &ryan is very professional and very courteous to there clientel which is a rare commodity these days. if they dont have it they will FIND it for you. they have a wide variety of comics, apparell, novels, when you go there tell them bob h. sent you & you wont be sorry

Capital Comics is the first comic shop that I have ever really been able to find what I want in. They are great at figuring out the perfect next thing for me to read, and have tons of gaming stuff as well. Best of all the people are nice and great to talk to... and they always know whats going on in the world of comics.

If y our youth consisted of comic books, toys, and candy, be prepared to wax nostalgic (two out of three ways, at least) as soon as you walk into this old-school small comic shop. Knowledgeable, chatty staff, great selection and back stock, and still easily navigable despite its size.

Nice store, not enough back issues, but if you like recent issues, this is your place. Friendly staff always greet you when you walk in and ask if they can assist you find anything. They also thank you for your purchase! Highly recommend!

Perfect shop for the location, a high foot traffic downtown area. Good spot for people who are new to comics. Large selection of kids comics and several boxes of $1 comics that are great for newcomers to try.

Buyer Beware. If you are new to comics and ask to buy a specific thing, they will lie to you and sell you something else. There is no return policy, either. I will not be going back.

Showed up at 705pm on a Monday, couldnt go in. Website and the time on the door show it closes at 8pm but door was locked and the cashier mouthed closed.. Oh well....
